I first saw him live at a C.N.D concert in Hyde Park with The Style Council must of been 30 odd years ago. I've got a very good Weller story . Suffice to say he had very good fun in The Hilton Hotel on Deansgate in Manchester (my home town) many years ago. All the best for the new year bud.
A mountain of contradictions, but he was a very young man here. A fairly brutal attack on Thatcherism, then a fairly unequivocal endorsement of personal responsibility at the end of the interview. Like most people, you can take little bits of all political persuasions and apply to them your own life.
