Hello my most cherished viewers! I'M BACK WITH A BRAND NEW KINGDOM HEARTS COVER! It's been a while since I released a new Kingdom Hearts cover, and this one is long overdue! I wrote this song in the perspectives of Roxas, Axel, and Xion, in that order. These three are my favorite and they left a huge mark on my heart, so I really wanted to write a song telling how they feel about their circumstances in the games. I really hope you guys like it.
Concerning the Kingdom Hearts album that I talked to you guys about, it is still very much in the making! I do apologize for such the long wait, but things take time and life absolutely gets in the way! But I want to make sure I do my absolute very best for you guys, because you deserve nothing less! I hope you will understand.

@@LizzRobinett In all honesty, I don't have favorite because I can understand each one of their lives in different ways. For example, Axel is the know-it-all hot-headed one (I'm like that sometimes), Roxas is the confused, indifferent, indecisive one (that's me on a daily basis), and Xion is the lone wolf that a lot of people forget/forgot about (that was me in middle school and part of high school)

That's all I want at the end of Kingdom Hearts 3. Roxas, Axel and Xion sitting together eating Sea salt ice cream on the clock tower.
And Cloud, Cid and Tifa/Aerith sitting their asses in those chairs finally drinking their god damn tea lmao.
I want that more than anything for KH3. A reunion and a happy ending for the clocktower trio.

That scene is just so sad. A lot of people think it's silly, but think of it this way. Roxas had no memories of his time before he was a Nobody, due to how he was created. Thus, he had no memories of friendship, unlike Sora. He was, essentially, a blank slate, much like Xion. One day, while on the clock tower in Twilight Town after seeing Hayner, Pence, and Olette call each other friends, Axel tells Roxas that friends do things like eat ice cream together, which made him respond that he and Axel were friends. When they brought Xion into their fold, the three of them became best friends, eating ice cream on the clock tower after a hard day of work. So, Roxas isn't really asking "who else will I have ice cream with", he's really saying "No! Xion! ...Who else will I be friends with?"

I can't wait too. I have a coworker who thinks "I only need to play the main games, 1, 2, and BBS." I tried to explain, and he refuses. I'm going to die laughing when he says 3 was so confusing.

Oh man, my Dad decided he'll be able to completely understand the plot of KHIII without playing any of the non-console games (and none of the HD remasters). I tried telling him there's like six major characters (Terra, Aqua, Ventus, Eraqus, Xehanort, and Xion) he hasn't even met yet, but he says he'll get it.

This song fills me with memories, feelings and nostalgia. When I was little, I remember that I used to spend long hours walking around Twilight Town just to listen to the song, it is beautiful and with a clear feeling of sorrow. Now you bring it to me with a privileged voice and impeccable lyrics .. Thank you very much Lizz I am almost in tears
Just listening to this kinda makes me think of how strong Sora is. Everyone that he cares for are going through so much and breaking down, yet he's always smiling and cheerful. Considering he was away from home for so long, lost his friends, lost his time with his mom, almost got lost to the darkness... And yet he stayed strong and kept on smiling. He is the light in the darkness that Kingdom Hearts was about.
So glad I found this song. Thanks, Lizz. Definitely will be a nostalgic song one day that I can show to my kids.
I think it's a good reason though to continue the game series (ie. Make another entry to continue his journey to Keyblade Master). Also, it's not every time I see the main protagonist failing the main challenge in a full game. True, the title means nothing, to us who have experienced first-hand what he went through, but it definitely can mean something to someone who works hard for it. [Think, a chef becoming a Master Chef, I guess?]
You make an excellent point though. I used to hate my master for not advancing me to another level in training, but after looking back, I understand that I was not ready for it. Probably the same for Sora. Besides, it's fun to see him working even harder for it and becoming more badass.
I would totally go for another entry even if it means another 10-20 years of waiting, if the adventure is not fully over yet. The best part is the journey for me and not the destination.:)
Thanks. Will give it a watch. All in all though, I really like the story so far, even with the few bumps here and there. Can't wait to see where the story will go next. Hoping Sora will be that Keyblade Master in the coming game, if not games.

Summer never lasts forever... so we make every moment a story to remember.
The second it hit Xion's verse (I thought the whole thing was from Roxas' perspective) my heart just broke. This is just ... amazing what I stumbled upon. Beautiful, so beautiful.
There are a lot, and I mean a LOT of moments throughout Kingdom Hearts that have made me tear up. But the only character who has legitimately made me cry is Xion. I have shed tears when Riku tells her, "Your solution can't just be right for you. It has to be what's best for everyone: you and your friends and everyone else," and when Namine tells her, "For all my power, I cannot keep a single piece of the memory called 'you' connected."
you know everyone says aqua terra and vendors are the trio that has a tragic story and they do but so do roxas xion and axel roxas is a nobody that had to go back to sora but just wants to be his own person xion is a nobody that no one remembers and axel just wants his best friend back
I somewhat relate to Axel. My best friend has to spend about 3/4 of the year in Florida(legal issues), and now I can only see him in the summer. This song made me cry, almost. I miss them all, especially after watching/playing 358/2 Days.

All of your KH covers, (specifically the 365/2 Days ones) make me want to cry, and I’ve never even beat the game. I recently tried playing through it, and when I heard Twilight Town’s music, I thought of your cover and almost cried.
Lazy afternoon was always so soothing ,relaxing giving me a sweet nostalgia of when i first played kh2 for the first time and on. It's probably the only kh "sad tune" I can listen to without getting the feels too much like Xion's or Roxas theme. .xD. Your version ,even tho a bit too melancholic for me, is so spot on. Your work with the lyrics is magnificent! You captured so much of the character's perspectives and story elements, kinda blows my mind .
I always imagine the first verse is sung by Roxas, the second by Axel, and the last one by Xion… ah, the feels.

Depends. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is the journey of Roxas as he's an organization member during Kingdom Hearts 1, Rechain of Memories, and before Kingdom Hearts 2. I think it's very insightful to how Organization XIII members truly feel as you interact with them from an ally perspective instead of an enemy perspective from Sora in the previous and later games. However, in my opinion, it's also the saddest of all the Kingdom Hearts games. Unlike most side games, this will most likely be enjoyable and long.
