The Sig p365 XL was a breakthrough firearm on the market that changed the landscape of concealed carry forever. However, it was lacking in some aspects compared to its more full sized brethren. I personally considered the XL a "seasonal" firearm, opting to use it only in the warmer months of the year and in certain niche situations.
The X Macro has once again shifted this landscape, giving us the concealability of smaller guns like the XL with the feel of a full sized, full capacity firearm. In my eyes there are no sacrifices made with the X Macro. You get a full grip with a full sized gun capacity with the comfort and concealability of a micro compact firearm. For these reasons, I dub thee X Macro, King of concealed carry.
Your original P365 XL review video was primarily what convinced me to not only replace my 43x with a P365, but also order a tactical rail as well as replace my TLR7 Sub with an Inforce light. Which also means replaces all of my holsters!

I just got the tacops and took advantage of Sigs 3 mag rebate so ended up with 7 mags for the standard purchase price. Unbeatable value. Added the 507k at a 15% discount for black Friday along with the TLR7A and a qvo tactical holster. Super stoked now debating a trigger upgrade but trying to hold off. Really happy with it so far, replacing my M&P sheild plus as my edc after some more testing.
I really really want to get the macro grip. However I'm hesitant cause I'd have to get multiple mags, a new light, and holster. So I'm not sure it's worth it currently. I have held one and agree that it feels great. I've always done +1 and an extra magazine. I think I was just taught that way.
With another fun the top off method works fine. Not sure I’d trust it with this one the spring tension. Ya, honestly it’s probably worth it to just get the whole gun 😂
Great review man. Are the only differences between the tac ops and the normal x-macro the porting? Also any plans on checking out the RMR HD?
Tac ops also comes with the magwell and the normal macro doesn’t.
I’m pretty much done with open topics. I’d be down to check out the RCR but it’s soooooo expensive 😂 trijicons next move to stay relevant in the changing market needs to be an enclosed sight meant for other slim profiled “micro” pistols like the macro and others. I would be interested in that offering
