- We’re back with another episode of #BOHNAFIDE and this time I’m picking out my hardwood floors! This episode is extra exciting because we are at the Divine Flooring (www.divinefloo...) Showroom here in Vancouver, BC. and they just re-opened after their recent renovation done by yours truly!! I’m so excited for you to see this amazing project we just completed but to also have you help me pick the flooring for our townhouse!
Even though we did design this showroom, I have to say after actually using it to shop for my own flooring, it truly is the best flooring showroom I’ve been to (and I’ve been to many!), so if you’re in Vancouver and looking for flooring options, you MUST stop by!

Zamboni has some great undertone tones in it but the Rome has all those nice rustic saw cuts. Picking floors first and designing around the floors is a great tip.
i love how the whole place is closed and sildent just for you to film in and demonstrate, it gives an amazing result, i love love love your videosand being able to watch your videos without the background music is such a blessing i can do it forever haha

Really loved the hardwood showroom. The design is nice and quite innovative. Loved the closets and the samples ideas as drawers.

Such a tough choice! I say go for either Rome or Zamboni. If you end up picking any cool hues in the countertop/tiling/cabinets, Zamboni's subtle purple undertone might contrast well. Goodluck!

Fantastic show room! How nice to see the wood on the floor. It is very hard to visualize what a room full of your wood will actually look like down.
I am in that process now with 4 samples at my feet. I like all 4 but have no clue what a room full if it will actually look like. Like you, i want a light floor & am leaning toward the lightest of the 4.
It is such an important decision!
Too costly an investment to get this wrong!😬

Hello Karin. Asking some much needed advice? I have an all white kitchen with a ( Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace walls)medium.gray island and stainless steel appliances. I’d like to go with a dark stain on the floors. What color stain would you recommend for the floors?? I’m looking for deep rich browns. Thank you so much for your expertise. Easiest way to choose carpet: sprinkle dirt and fur and wine on the samples, rub them in, then see which is easiest to vacuum and spot clean

Would a matte wire brushed wood be more susceptible to staining with spills? It looks so beautiful but to me it seems that it would soak in liquids or just moisture. I could be totally wrong and sound rly stupid right now lol.
