Making a Tool & Cutter Grinder - Hemingway Kits - Part 2

- Here I build a tool and cutter grinder using plans and materials from Hemingway Kits.
The sheet metal parts were quite sharp and required a lot of deburring. They are all accurately to dimension and square, though.
The plans are nicely printed on A3 paper, although the dimensions are in imperial - not great for my metric machines. Before starting each part, I converted all the measurements to metric.
I wasn't sure how sturdy it would be, given the many sheet metal parts, but what I've built up to now feels very solid.

I love all your videos, and find your jigging super satisfying. But this time I think you flew through it, I was not quite able to follow. I may have to watch it again. Still a big Thumbs up!
Many thanks for the feedback!

Many thanks!
Nice build, you just gave me some ideas for a future project.
Thanks! I can't take any credit for the design, but great to hear that you've been inspired!

Nice work Paul, lots of parts in these kits, makes for a great hobby, cheers!
Thanks! It's certainly been keeping me busy!
It only took you 12 minutes to make that tool holding jig....what will you do with the rest of the evening?😂
🤣 🤣
Awesome videos, you do great work! While watching this, I noticed your lathe mounted scribe tool, and your auto-retracting thread. Was going to comment just to ask you about those, then I looked at your previous videos and found both! Thanks for sharing, your videos will be occupying my idle time for the foreseeable future :)
Many thanks for the kind words!
