Mercedes-Benz X Class 350d 4Matic - The Most Luxury Pick-Up in the Extreme Mud & 4x4 Off-Road track!

- The Mercedes Benz X-Class 350d 4Matic can be considered the most luxurious pick-up on the market, and here you see it in action at the Autodromo di Modena offroad track during the Motor1Days event. The conditions of the test site were demanding due to heavy rains that made the swampy area full of mud with completely flooded sections. Despite this, all-wheel drive and sophisticated electronic management do not seem to have worried about the big Mercedes vehicle. The 2987cc Euro 6 V6 diesel engine develops 190kW (258 hp) at 3400 rpm and a torque of 550 Nm. The transmission is an automatic seven-speed with electronic control and possible sequential manual use.
Il Mercedes Benz X-Class 350d 4Matic può essere considerato il pick-up più lussuoso in commercio e qui lo vedete in azione presso la pista off-road dell'Autodromo di Modena durante l'evento Motor1Days. Le condizioni del terreno di prova erano impegnative a causa di forti piogge che hanno reso la zona paludosa e piena di fango con tratti interamente allagati. Nonostante questo, la trazione integrale e la sofisticata gestione elettronica non sembrano aver impensierito il grosso veicolo Mercedes. Il motore a gasolio V6 da 2987cc Euro 6 sviluppa 190kW (258 CV) a 3400 giri/min ed una coppia di 550 Nm. La trazione è integrale permanente ed il cambio è un automatico a controllo elettronico, con possibile utilizzo manuale sequenziale, a 7 rapporti.

Si assolutamnte. Come base, meccanica, motori, cambio sembra tutto molto ben fatto. Interessante capire quanti ne venderanno.
This sure looks like either a US built fullsize Toyota or Nissan. I would bet money it is based on one of those. By the headlights my guess is Toyota. MB powertrain should be great but added luxury features always mean more expensive crap that eventually breaks.
Hahaha, your analysis is clearly acceptable. This pickup comes from the Nissan Navara, but engines, gearboxes, interiors and much more are sourced from Mercedes

Standard Benz machines are quite tough. Luxury items on ALL makes prove to be troublesome. Resale on a typical US luxury Benz (which is all of them sold here) is deplorably low. Once the extra crap starts malfunctioning, people give them away. Same with BMW, Cadillac, Lincoln, Lexus, and Infiniti. Acura is the only Luxury car with few faults.
@@upsidedowndog1256 You are right. Cars are full of useless electronic gadgets that are of no use and are only a source of problems. Modern vehicles are not made to last as long as 20-30 years. Their development with ever shorter times to release new models is also a cause of their lower reliability. I prefer old cars. Few problems and they always go.
upside downdog A lot better than American crap. American cars are know for being he most unreliable cars worldwide. Very poor quality control. I’ve never had a problem with a BMW or a Merc or any Japanese car. People I know always have problems with Jeep, Dodge and other American cars.

Yeah, me too. I prefer Made in Japan Japanese cars but my wife's USA made '93 Civic EX still kicks ass as well as my Japanese made 84 Nissan Pickup. I had a friend who bought a late 90s MB E300. The damn underhood wiring harness was made with biodegradeable insulation! Fortunetely Poland builds replacement harnesses for a reasonable price.
