Thanks. I just got a new PC and it kept freezing whenever I plugged in a USB or audio jack. I didn’t use your method as much as I just had windows reinstall the USB driver, but I wouldn’t have found out about that without bumping into this.
I got a different solution. I share it here in case someone nedd it: Disabling USB selective suspend: -In Windows, USB selective suspend can cause issues with USB devices. To disable it: -Open Control Panel. -Go to "Power Options." -Select "Change plan settings" next to your current power plan. -Click on "Change advanced power settings." -Expand the "USB settings" section and then "USB selective suspend setting." -Disable this option for both "On battery" and "Plugged in" if applicable. -Save the changes and restart your computer. -Checking USB power settings: -Make sure there are no power settings that are turning off USB ports. To do this: -Open Device Manager. -Expand the "Universal Serial Bus controllers" section. -Right-click on each "USB Root Hub" and select "Properties." -In the "Power Management" tab, make sure to uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."
Hey man i know it's been years but I am absolutely at the end of the rope here.I had to open my pc dedust it and change the thermal paste. I build my PC in 2019,I am runing an i9-9900kf with an rtx 2080 super on a Z390 AORUS PRO win10 system watercooled with EVGA CLC 240. I forgot to plug in the AIO watercooling cable.The first time I booted it didn't go to windows immediately but to some mobo options I thik it had like 3 options. I thought it was because of the AIO,I panicked,shut down my PC,reconnected my AIO and I chose the option that said boot bios as default or something along those lines. My mobo,gpu and fans can show rgb and can be controlled via software.EVGA flow control says device not found. In device manager now in "other devices" -> "unknown device" I can't update it properties say The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28) There are no compatible drivers for this device. To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver. Searching automatically is fruitless.Unplugging the cable doesn't cause windows to make a sound.Plugging it again does nothing .No other apparent problems on my pc. In device manager Universal Serial Bus controllers I am missing "CCVI".I don't know what to do I don't know if my watercooler is working or not. PLEASE HELP.

When I follow the guide and install the driver I found, my PC says my system doesn't fulfil the requirements of installation

I always get the drivers from the manufacture's website of the board or who made the computer. IE Dell.

Sounds like a mixed bag of marbles. Not something anyone can diagnose via text. More of a in person fix
mine doesn't seem to have the "thunderbolt" driver is there any way to fix it? my device is Asus K60IJ

Deleted USB drivers and I cannot use my keyboard or mouse. Won't install after booting up, so what then? 🤷🏾
Hope you have a backup image.
Windows should recognize pluging in after a reboot. Why did you delete them?
