Speaking as a father too, it isn't entirely far off. When they are really young the mother tends to be the better parent. That isn't saying the father can't help bottle feed, change diapers, or put the baby to bed, but there isn't THAT much to do otherwise besides help take care of the mother which can sometimes be as much work. As children get older however, time with dad becomes a lot more critical. I'm not even saying that as a Matt Walsh fan, I never watch his stuff, just my experiences and my son and his mom love me.

That, and the fact that most soil is actually not suitable to make fossils, there are probably an incomprehensible amount of fossils that have been permanently lost to time because the local ecological system didn't support proper fossil formation.

The other thing is, even if there are fossils, their condition also deteriorates with time. If you know the mineralogy of the specific fossils you are looking for you can find 1000 fossils in a rock, but only 1 or 2 in "prestine" condition. To an amateurs eye the other 998 fossils just look like colorful rock/dust. The best example is salt lakes. If the salt lakes exist/ed for millions of years you get entire rock layers of brine shrimp egg fossils. Several meters of just brine shrimp egg pebbles. Normal people wouldn't even consider thinking of those as fossils. The funniest thing is the upper layers though. The "prestine good looking fossils" (only hundreds/thousands of years old) are actually still living brine shrimp eggs that might still hatch. That's the origin of the fossil pokemon being brought back to life btw.

There is a difference between 30 and 60 fps but it is similar to the difference between 16 vs 32 bits of color. Hyper sensitive people notice it, and ironically experiencing better makes you more sensitive towards it. So you could be perfectly happy with 30 fps for years until you are PC gaming with 60... until you see 120 fps! but the returns in quality drop immensely the more you increase it at much more resource usage.
So I've used a high spec pc for awhile, I've never once been able to tell the difference between 30, 60, and 120 at least not without something that measures framerate. So I have a question for people that do notice the difference do you also notice the slow framerate in movies? Most movies are at 24 frames per second.

On the flipsize, most fossil bearing rock formations in Germany have only marine fossils (as Germany was underwater during that time) and you wouldn't expect a T-Rex fossil to suddenly show up in the midst of thousands of belemnites, ammonites and clam shells.
That, and the fact that most soil is actually not suitable to make fossils, there are probably an incomprehensible amount of fossils that have been permanently lost to time because the local ecological system didn't support proper fossil formation.

The other thing is, even if there are fossils, their condition also deteriorates with time. If you know the mineralogy of the specific fossils you are looking for you can find 1000 fossils in a rock, but only 1 or 2 in "prestine" condition. To an amateurs eye the other 998 fossils just look like colorful rock/dust.
The best example is salt lakes. If the salt lakes exist/ed for millions of years you get entire rock layers of brine shrimp egg fossils. Several meters of just brine shrimp egg pebbles. Normal people wouldn't even consider thinking of those as fossils.
The funniest thing is the upper layers though. The "prestine good looking fossils" (only hundreds/thousands of years old) are actually still living brine shrimp eggs that might still hatch.

Hyper sensitive people notice it, and ironically experiencing better makes you more sensitive towards it. So you could be perfectly happy with 30 fps for years until you are PC gaming with 60... until you see 120 fps!
but the returns in quality drop immensely the more you increase it at much more resource usage.
So I've used a high spec pc for awhile, I've never once been able to tell the difference between 30, 60, and 120 at least not without something that measures framerate. So I have a question for people that do notice the difference do you also notice the slow framerate in movies? Most movies are at 24 frames per second.
