Hey man I had my clearance interview a few months ago and haven't heard back. I was honest on everything I'm just nervous because I haven't heard back. Didn't know if you know anyone that took a while to hear back. It's been about four months. I've been in DEP since May and have a few more to go. Think your videos are great and helpful, thanks!
Thanks for all of the videos man. Appreciate the advice and what to expect . I will be leaving September 24th. Excited and cant wait. But i do have some questions. I know you are older and have bills. What did you do with your phone , car , insurance payments etc.. Did you pay bills while in bootcamp?
just watched all 6 of your vids and was wondering, from the time you land at the airport, when do you leave and head over to the recruit base and take your pee test?
Have you seen someone get denied a clearance? I'm waiting on my clearance to finish up. I'm in DEP and I've already had an investigator come interview me. Hopefully I don't have to do it again
going to join the navy in a few months but in the mean time I'm training as much can I am a heavier guy so I'm a little worried but I have heart how often do we pt in boot camp like how many push-ups and situps do I have to do every single day
amazing series man honestly answered so many questions. I just have one last question. How fit would you say you were before heading into boot camp. i have played sports all my life and have always been fit, its just i'm a perfectionist and i really want to get excellent on all of the pt. I just scored a 99 on my asvab so now i'm just waiting to head to boot camp.
I'm going in as an air crewman and need a security clearance for my job. I leave for bootcamp April 19th and I'm 20 years old. When will I know when my security clearance has passed? Also what happens of your security clearance is granted but you fail out of A school and go U designated into the fleet ? Does it carry with you? No worries if you don't know the answer. Just wondering. I've heard for aircrew dry the candidate school has a high drop out rate but I'm not too worried. Thanks
so i messed up and didnt excercise enough before now and i leave in 3 days. i think i can do the 1.5 mile in 15 minutes but im not sure if i can do any better, i can do 60 sit ups and 40 push ups in 2 minutes each which is bare minimum for my age group 18-20. do you have any idea of what to expect for extra training? im really nervous and a little scared.
Interesting series. I went through boot in 1977 and found the changes since then surprising. Less physical and more mental now. Good luck Sailor!
Thanks for the series.
Man you’re from Calhoun? No way! I’m from Rome. I’ve been watching all of your boot camp videos.
