Good stuff, great short story telling, but obvious ending. I would have had him drinking, after the second Polaroid the third is it sitting on the couch next to him. Think of it, huge scary invisible monster, he makes a buddy out of it, just two beings on the couch drinking a brew together, unique ending.
After sitting through 3 versions of the same premise, i.e. some one/thing is in the house.. and suddenly it gets the girl.. this was a surprisingly refreshing twist. i LOVED the use of the bare bulb in the room, the light that was both immediately comforting and yet at the same moment some how not quite comforting enough.. the idea that the being was only visible in the flash, except at the end for some reason.. that was the one and only thing i did not like.
Mikanojo Hikyuu it’s like beetlejuice. You gotta say beetlejuice to summon him, and this guy took three photos to summon this demon dude. You know what I’m talking about right? The movie starring Michael Keaton where he plays Beetle..... oh that was close
I've seen loads of short movies like this, most of the time the acting is questionable but it's fine because the stories are normally pretty good. But this guy's acting without any dialogue is really good, his acting makes him feel genuinely scared and you almost feel it for him. This movie was great, his acting made it.
I am trying to not watch videos like this anymore, because I get paranoid and can't sleep. But I can't stop watching these delicious Videos. Who can relate? :D PS: I love this video. Holy crap this is fantastic. One of the best short horror films I’ve seen since David F. Sandberg’s work. I was glued to the screen and chills overcame me as I watched. Creepy, intense, yet simple and all around extremely effective. I strive to make a horror short as good, great job guys. Love it. Going to share this around with my friends and on my social media!
This is an excellent little gem of a film. It's a really well contained little horror story that really just leaves you with questions and a chill. Fantastic work!
I found it very disturbing, as it was meant to be; very short and that was why it was so effective; the technique excellent. Good spatial sense and the absence of any dialogue made one concentrate on the action. Congratulations on making this rather brilliant very short film. More like this please.
@@vladdracul5072 Huh. Good quote, ngl. But in a horror scenario, nobody says a person's smart for heading towards the source of the unknown. And with good reason. Because that person ends up dying, nine out of ten times. Again though. Legitimately good quote. I just don't think it applies here.
@@HisExcellencyIsMyGod But then a horror movie needs a sensible person who finds out what's going on in order to solve the problem. If everyone just runs away, it will be hard to produce a satisfactory ending.
@@vladdracul5072 That's fair, ngl. And true in many a circumstance. I do, however, believe this applies to Thrillers rather than Horror movies. As Thrillers and the like give the endings people crave, where the heroes make it out alive and plot armor shields their favorite characters. It gives the thrill of horror, without the dreary and sometimes dissatisfactory endings. True Horror however- like this flick, The Grudge, or the Blair Witch Project, for example- gives a much bleaker outlook. Heroes rarely survive. The monsters frequently fail to die- and sometimes aren't even substantially hurt- by the end of the movie. And the few who do make it out alive are horribly scarred as a person, and will never forget the horrors of their experience. Hence the name of the genre. So, while yes, I do agree the characters who survive to the end of any movie are seldom foolish or stupid- the characters in a horror movie or franchise normally end up as casualties rather than as survivors. As that's the main thing that scares any person. Having no happy ending.
@@HisExcellencyIsMyGod Hm, that's an interesting distinction. And I agree, I actually do prefer what you call true horror, without a happy ending. And wouldn't you agree that it's so much more satisfying if the protagonists were smart and did everything they could instead of running, but it was all for nothing and they lost anyway? The opposite of those horrible silly superhero movies, so to speak.
this was so well done - and shot better than a lot of horror shorts I've watched. That first close up of his eyes over the polaroid 🔥. Great tension is a very short amount of time too!

The movie starring Michael Keaton where he plays Beetle..... oh that was close
nice juan.
It wasn't visible in the final flash because it was already behind the guy.
I've seen loads of short movies like this, most of the time the acting is questionable but it's fine because the stories are normally pretty good. But this guy's acting without any dialogue is really good, his acting makes him feel genuinely scared and you almost feel it for him. This movie was great, his acting made it.
HAY THIS WAS GREAT. MAKE A WHOLE SERIES ON THIS APARTMENT
I am trying to not watch videos like this anymore, because I get paranoid and can't sleep. But I can't stop watching these delicious Videos.
Who can relate? :D
PS: I love this video. But it would've been scarier if the monster would've looked like more alienlike. You know tall, grey, big black eyes, maybe long arms with sharp claws.
💯🤙😌
I don't want to watch them ever again! but I just can't help but watch them.. this one was scary as hell but good! Ok so of to some comedy now 😂
Pultu tak si s ní hádat já ti to pro mě já se připojím i moje sestra je mi sice Chápeš to ty nejsi jako že jdete vánek na doma jenom sranda tak mi minutama jít ven

Yes,me
Ffs, I literally screamed and nearly threw my phone. And after the demon wasn't in that last picture, I was like, "it's because it's behind you!!!" But I was expecting it to be behind him when the camera panned up as he looked at the picture, not a turn around jump scare 😳 very well done!!
I like how when I can't sleep and I pull up TH-cam and this pop's up it's like oh yeah horror film totally relaxing in the middle of the night
Uddhsh8ehu😐🤯🤤😐🤤😐🤤😐🤤🤪😐😐🤪😐🤪😐🤪😐😴😐😐
First click for fun
Second click for making it confirm.
And third click for stupidity 🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Some "things" don´t like to be disturbed!
I'd run so fast
Kingless Lady same lol
This is why they don't make horror movies about people like us. =-)
Fantastic work!
man this short was so elegantly and simply filmed but that bit of makeup and costume is soooo good!
It wasn't a makeup. It was a real demon.
"Curiosity killed the cat"
After that first picture he took I would have noped out of there. Excellent film.
I found it very disturbing, as it was meant to be; very short and that was why it was so effective; the technique excellent. Good spatial sense and the absence of any dialogue made one concentrate on the action. Congratulations on making this rather brilliant very short film. More like this please.

Me: YOU FOOL!
And in real life: The fool runs from everything he doesn't know, the smart one investigates and learns.
The flash of the Polaroid phases him into the monster's world. Pretty cool!
The film would have been over in 5 seconds if I were in there
this was so well done - and shot better than a lot of horror shorts I've watched. That first close up of his eyes over the polaroid 🔥. Great tension is a very short amount of time too!
This is why you don't miss with evil when you notithem just leave or eles pray ...this was the truth and amazing short film..thx keep up great work
that demon just wanted one picture but that guy had to take 3 more pictures.
An impressive and brooding dark elf at the same time.
Very well done, perfect speed and tension.
Bro when i tell you i screamed so loud😂😂 that was the best one ive seen so far because it actually scared me. Brb gotta go check my underpants.
