Well his first mistake is making his presence known. The monster made a beeline for his room the moment he saw in the window. All he could do is find an exit beneath the monster's notice, but we saw how that ended up going for him
The black creature at the car, turning his ocular headlamps on and proceeding to rapidly waddle to the hotel was incredibly terrifying. The unknown is a fear in all of us.

This is what we need: a new kind of monster. There should be a long hiatus on the use of zombies, vampires, and werewolves. And more original weird creepy things like this creature.
What a way to introduce a monster. Quick, unsettling, and just overall sets the tone for the rest of the film. Kinda found the final scare a bit underwhelming tho personally. Everything building up to that was pretty great!
I kinda started rooting for the monster at the point he went out to investigate ngl. I mean what kind of person even does that after seeng at least 1 horror movie?😅
That's just a agent from his insurance company. They obviously been trying to call him about his extended warranty but nope so he gets a 'in person' visit 😭
I was already signed a death sentence the moment he made eye contact with the monster through the window. No way in hell staying in that room would have saved him.
bro if you just watched a shadow figure run into your building and you hear a knock on your door and nobody is there, why would this dude choose to open his door
I really did enjoy this. There aren't too many horror movies out there that can show the monster/creature upfront and keep it so eerie. Super well shot and made 👏
pretty cool! love the monster design, just a tall, dark shadow with glowing white pinpricks for eyes, the way it walks is both creepy and funny at once

what I most love about this is that it really does use that uncannily homogenous and disorientating nature of the modern, cheaper, urban hotel - somehow all the clear signage in the world doesn't stop me from getting a bit lost in them, and now I'll have the sweet monster to think of too
Oh, that was good! You conveyed a lot with a little. The creature's movements were really eerie. When Shaggy dropped his card I was like "Oh s***!" out loud.

I totally would.

yeah, i mean the first is good, there's a lot of space for improvment but it's solid as fuck.

This is what happens when you leave Shaggy alone to fight the monsters

🤣🤣oh, he looks like shaggy

who is shaggy?🤔
Yeap, leave the relative safety of your room to investigate a mysterious black shadow. Yeap, makes sense
Well you know how it is in "horror" films. They have to have dumb characters. Its almost like an unwritten law by now! Lol!
If someone knocks at my door, I check and see no one's there, I double lock the door. I don't go out to investigate.

Dang. I found it funny to!

I like this idea of the traditional ghost: a figure in a sheet. An homage to the ghosts we feared as children.
i really like the unnatural way the entity moves. It gives it a really uncanny feeling and i love it.
