  • EFREN REYES ALMOST PUT HIS OPPONENT TO SLEEP | A very dominating match here as Efren Reyes runs each rack flawlessly. His opponent took a nap as he waits for his turn. Efren Reyes is an absolute beast at his prime never giving his opponents the slightest chance. #EfrenReyes #efrenreyestv #poolperfectionist #themagician #legendefrenreyes

    Most of Efren's opponent gains something valuable when they are up against him..firstly,they can learn more on how to improve their game by observing his technique of play & secondly they have the best seat in the house to watch the best player in the world..not a total loss ☺️

    I just happened to get a pool video today for the first time and without knowing the sport I decided to watch it. This video happened to be of efren Reyes hitting that legendary impossible Z shot to win the game !! I got that video in the morning 10 am and I got so mesmerised by the magician that it is 11pm in the night now and iam still continuing to watch this wizard of pool !! The greatest thing about efren is how humble he is both in victory and defeat. He is a smiling assasin. I watched videos of his humble background and coming from such impoverished background to such a level is nothing but god blessing him abundantly right through from the age of 5. He is a miracle child of god and he was sent by god to play pool and give glorious moments to the people watching the sport. Can see the grace of god with every shot he made. It was pure magic. Efren reyes you are a genius an absolute legend. Respect 🙏

      Why? He did it to others plenty of times. The ones I feel sorry for are the ones who sit there through interminable straight pool or one pocket games that are as one sided as this, or worse. I've seen several 150 and outs in straight pool, where the opponent got NO shots and might as well have stayed in bed, because it would have made absolutely no difference if he had. THAT is brutal.

    I have more than likely watched every Eften video on TH-cam, and I am a huge fan of his. He seems very nice. I finally got to see him live in Huntsville Alabama, and wanted to get his autograph. I wanted to be as respectful as possible, and waited till he was waiting on his next match. But his manager that goes with him everywhere did me wrong and told me to meet him outside and I would get my autograph. Needless to say his manager lied and they both left and I probably won't ever get my pool heroes autograph. Still love The Bata but I hate that his manager did that to me. It really sucks but what was I supposed to do

    Nope his 30’s is NOT his prime age according to Efren himself.
    During his hustling days in his 20s he said that no one can beat him. Confidence and body was at his prime in his 20s I guess. This is just scary to think how good he was in his TRUE prime. Unfrotunately, we don’t have any video of this true prime as these were done on sleazy pool halls in PH.

    Efren is always a blast to watch, but in his prime he bordered on unbelievable. More than a magician, here he played near perfect pool. That cue ball control was absolutely amazing. He was on ball in hand placement position just about every shot. Truly amazing talent. "Efren Reyes arrives at the hill first". Kind of an understatement there, dude. "If you are a fan of Efren"...seriously, if you take pool seriously, and you're not being trounced by him at the moment, who isn't?

    • @MrJdsenior
      @MrJdsenior 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@josephroberts2555 Yeah, but not a very interesting or original one. Normally, to me, it's far more interesting to hear some accurate and interesting actual analysis, prediction, and reasoning for the players actions, at least and especially when I knew very little about pool. A lot to learn there, when the commentator is at the level of this particular fellow. A lot more when they are digging down into the basic workings of the players actions, thinking, and intent.
      Even now if there is a Scott Frost or Jeremy Jones type of commentator I learn a lot, especially on games I'm not nearly as familiar with and require immense strategy, like one pocket. Or a Nick Varner, who's also got some good anecdotes and funny observations. I think the funniest pair is Encardona and Danny DiLiberto (that one will be contentious) as they are sometimes like an old married couple that squabble light heartedly and even break each other up. You don't find wits much dryer than Danny. People seem to either love him or hate him as a commentator, not a lot in between from the comments I've seen on them.
      Listening to the commentator from this channel you literally learn zip, like why even bother, it brings nothing to the table, and is literally like DUH from beginning to end. I think that is what Joe was saying, since it apparently flew right over your head.
      I do appreciate this commentator as an uploader though, as he tends to let the video run beginning to end without interruption, and I have no qualms whatsoever about just muting the audio, any more. In other words, nothing to hear here folks, move along. I guess if you can't figure out if the ball went here, or there, and followed this path every shot he's great. Or what action Efren used to accomplish the shot, on rare occasions.
      Maybe for an unsighted person this channel announcer would be very good (not being flippant there). Thoroughly brain dead and utterly useless material, though, if you are looking at the screen or monitor. I don't need someone to tell me the ball went from here to there in this path every time. It is precisely like someone reading out loud something you are reading yourself, useless, or worse than useless in that case, just a talking head. Apparently you like that sort of thing, though. And I'm not dissing the channel dude, as apparently to some people (you for one) it is just the ticket. Ha Ha.

    • @theaurafist
      @theaurafist 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      To be that consistent for 11 straight racks and also not be unlucky on the break is really rare, it's one of the few formats that rewards skill. If the number 1 player is that good, he'll get an opportunity and he can do the exact same thing in reverse, or be good enough to not lose the lag in the first place. If you're still salty because perfect play fucked you over, you're not the number 1 player in the world. Right? The guy who made you turn your seat into a Dutch oven is really the number 1 player.
