There are extra scenes added in for Rocky V, compared to the theatrical cut. Even more of Conti's score instead of the soundtrack songs. Its not to the extent of the directors cut that was leaked ages ago but still a little bit. Strange I havent heard any reviewer or article mention this. Obviously it would have been great to see the full extended cut available though.
The fact that Rocky V doesn’t have any supplements on the 4K and on the accompanying Blu-ray disc is disappointing for longtime fans and new fans alike of the film. Where’s the workprint edition of the film that John G. Avildsen posted online 22 years ago that was on the rough looking VHS copy? Where’s anything that was on the previous formats? This is just Warner’s being lazy on their end from what it seemed like.
I hope they will get a slipcover for these two movies since I don’t own the 4K steelbook for the first 4 movies and i enjoy Rocky V and also Rocky Balboa too MovieGuy and hate when they released all 6 Rocky Films on 4K a year later it makes mad that I already brought the first 4 Rocky movies on 4K and now idk if I want to buy them again with the 6 boxset version or not
I am quite disappointed that they included both the theat and director's cuts on one disc, rather than giving them each room to breathe. This is my favorite movie ever so I am pretty bummed out.
Man i love 5 and 6. But not going to fly to buy these till they drop in price i just got my 4 corrected discs for the 1-4 set. so I dont need to get all 6 together.
@@walter2695oh cool 😎 and i might get the whole set on 4K all 6 of them even though I have the first 4 on 4K and 5&6 on blu ray so i definitely want to upgraded the last two movies but I will get the whole set on 4K once it goes down in price

Rocky Balboa is kind of special to me my son was 10 when I took him to see Rocky 4 20yrs later he took me to see Balboa

I still have the workprint on my PC , its better than the theatrical one
Awesome. Cant wait. Balboa is one of the best films ever made imo. Love the blu ray, so im sure ill be happy witb the 4k.

Not sure what country you are in but there are non steelbook versions available in the UK

Seamless branching.
There's little over 20 minutes between them. As the other poster said - seamless branching, same as on the Aliens disc and many others.
@@Kobiedog31 nah it isn't that, there are two seperate files on the disc of slightly under 50 GB each. There is just more compression used.

How did you get your corrected discs???
i remember seeing R5 In the theatre back when i was 15, still not much of a fan of it. Has some good scenes but all in all not great.
