    I Love this car. I've been building my B5 Sedan from ground up now. Had strugle, I didn't study carmechanic. I switched the Motor, wires and seats from Avant FL to Sedan prefl. So much learned from the Community. It's inspiring seeing vids like this. Keep it Up 🔥🔥🔥

      hell yah. k04s make for a great daily driving stage 3 car even with an auto trans. I have tuned a few stage 3 auto cars and they perform really well. If you want to upgrade your transmission I can get you in contact with my buddy that builds them.

    Noobish question... What does the PJ stand for in the description for the k04s? Never heard of PJs. FTs and JHMs yes.

      That’s a good question. It mean plane Jane. It’s a term used when talking about rs4 Borg Warner k04s that have not been modified or are hybrid k04s

    quick question, currently doing a tip to manual swap on my 04 A6 S-line. While I have it out I changed turbo's to KO4's, 3" downpipes and 2.8 Heads. Thinking of running E85. What else do you suggest I need including tune when all is put together? I'm in Killeen, TX so reccomendatons for good tuners in the area would be appeciated

    Are these pj k04s or do they have upgraded wheels? And is this car still kicking? My k04 on my passenger side blew so wanted to go with the upgraded k04s that sep auto makes. You have any experience with them?

      They are PJ ko4s with upgraded chra’s. No he money shifted and floated a few valves. It’s in the process of getting rebuilt. SEP has some great turbos so that’s a good choice. I haha tuned a few cars with them and they all performed very well.

    How do those 1k injectors idle? What make/model/pattern are they? Congrats on the number, but how long will that SB last at this level is the real question.

      they idle great. You want to go with the genuine Bosch Motorsport 1kcc they have the best spray pattern. Thank you.

    What does a Stock B5 S4 put down on that dyno? Or any car bone stock for that matter so we get a ballpark.
    And I'm assuming all the extra power is by way of ignition timing being very aggressive. E85 is great stuff, but even high 400s on any brand dyno worth its shit is ridiculously high. You don't pickup 100whp with the same hardware and fueling on turbos that are within 10% of their absolute bearing shredding maximum by way of going super aggressive, it isn't possible.
    Now if there's un listed mods in the mix that effect VE, I'd be way more inclined to think it's possible. K04-25/26's just fall over at 450ish to the ground on Q16/C16/C85/E98 doesn't matter. They're hot air blow dryers past that.
    I'd absolutely love to be proven wrong in every way. Not shit talking but having had so many of them tuned by some very good tuners,and even running a 034IIc standalone tuned by Nef, then Martin at RSEnthralpy, on PjK04s and Q16, I just don't see it. That means I've got another ~60 wheel on the table and my car will be trailered out to GET as soon as possible.
    (I hope there's been some new parts or big advances that I don't know about, that'd make Corona and Chill so much better)

      Thank you for your very well thought out comment. Most stock B5 S4’s made around 180hp to the wheels. This car has slightly modified K04s for a little better flow but they are the same wheel sizes as BW PJ k04s. Timing was around 24deg above 5k so yes it was running aggressive timing on E85. This dyno is similar to a Mustang dyno being that it’s an eddy current design but it does read slightly higher then a Mustang would. The car has even supporting modification that is available on the market including a larger ypipe and bipipes, SRM v3 intercoolers. E85 cools IAT very well and that also helps make more power.

      @@GermanEliteTuning Awesome, thanks for the reply. That sounds spot on for a stocker as well so thats even more impressive. Ive seen some "break 500" on PJs but they were also posting stock B5s as 200-215whp cars.
      Is it just "clipped" compressors then? Or stock diameter wheels with different blade count/profiles. I could see that doing the trick too as Borgs KKK series are some Olddddd tech these days. TurboLab Put some GTX2863 (may have been more like 25framed 63s...can't remember ill have to go back through some emails) and I can bet that something along those lines transforms old JB junk to something that actually flows at a decent Pressure ratio.
      I've never ran over about 22° at peak torque being scared of the rods going.
      Sounds like some flow mods on the turbo side and a really great intake and exhaust path with E85 dis the trick. Thats really good to see these cars continue to develop. Bang for $ they're amazing, and you can daily them in a blizzard yet still take a lady to dinner. That's hard to beat.

      There are several 2.7t engines with k04s putting down 500+awhp. This isn't the only one. These cars come 250chp e85 makes a big difference in power from pump 93oct.

    What clutch does it have and is the rest of the drivetrain stock? Trans/axles?

      I think it’s a ringer racing stage 4 but it’s been awhile. Yes the trans and axles are stock.

    Hope you don't mean stock block.as in rods, pistons..Because if so, be prepared for boom..Happened to mine with only 21 psi, 410ish whp, low reading dyno, probably 425 or so...JHM, tuned 93, torque curve perfect. I did go WOT through at least 2nd to 3rd, sometimes to 5th often, but I was told stock rods were good for 500whp blah blah

      Yes his motor is bone stock and he is still ripping it as much as he can. The key is keeping the tq onset limited down low to keep the stock rods happy.

      @@GermanEliteTuning yeah, thats how mine was tuned..I get it, pay to play, but I was just wondering if at least the OEM rod bolts were ditched..But I've also seen 2 2.7t's bend actual rods, with bolt swaps. Got out of the Audi game years ago..Loved it, unmatched ride quality, but just too many headaches for a DD...As you can probably guess, I'm a Subie driver now. Lol..Yeah, I know..But I got 120k miles on a stock block running mid 11's on E85..Handles like a go kart, but drives like a subaru. Lol

      They can’t handle more then 500tq to the wheels. Your pretty close to the stock rod limit.

    Fack - I'm getting the impression the 550cc injectors I just bought will be inadequate for K04's on E85.

      Yes they will be passed maxed out on e85. 630cc is the minimum you want to run with k04s and e85. I suggest my customers to go with 750cc with k04s just to give some extra headroom.

    Hey I’m trying to get similar results I’m trying so hard but I’m getting so many different feed back from everyone what do you guys think about the SRMk24 journal bearing turbos? Do you think I can see numbers like this with those turbos? How about the jhm turbos?

      I have the SRM k24s in my car and have a little over 50k on them. They perform very well and I made the same lower as this car did with my stock block. I have 285k on my motor now. The jhm rs6r are great turbos also. I haha tubed a good amount of cars with both turbos. Are you going to install rods? If you stay stock block you are limited to 500hp and Tq. With rods on e85 you can make up to 650hp and close to that amount of TQ.

      I would love to do rods and a thicker head gasket but I don’t have anyone I know or trust to get the work done. I guess for now my limits will either be 500hp / tq until I find someone I trust. I recently crapped my clutch. I just picked up a 6 puck clutch from jhm 5r with the chromoly lightweight flywheel. I’m praying it’s decent. These guys weren’t to informative when I call them to ask about their parts. They only recommended the a 5r 6 puck clutch and the chromoly flywheel for 500 or close to 500 hp/tq.

      L0n3S0m31 Rods are the way to go for over 500hp/tq for sure. That’s going to be a pretty aggressive clutch in traffic but will hope some good power. Where are you located. I might be able to suggest a good shop for you to go to.

      L0n3S0m31 I hear yah. You don’t need a thicker head gasket but if you want lower compression you will need to install low compression pistons when you install rods. The stock compression is good tho. You can check out The automotive headquarters. They are in Freeport New York. Cj is the owner and an awesome guy. There is also SEP automotive in New Jersey and Andrew is the owner of that shop and he is also a great guy.

      He’s it’s right at the stock clock limit. I have the torque onset pretty low to keep the stock rods in check.

      @@GermanEliteTuning How different does a PJK04 tune look on a built motor? Have you tuned stock ASJ/AZR motors and seen benefit to all the RS4 parts in making power on k04's? What would the torque curve look like on an E85/K04 setup BEL/APB with rods on an otherwise stock block? Trying to decide if it's worth building the bottom end, sourcing RS4 heads/crank etc and going a step further, or just working off a stock block.

      The clutch may have slipped a little or the dyno changed load. It didn’t show it on the graph tho.

      you’ll like the 605.2’s more theres room for more potential if you ever feel stock block power isnt enough you can throw in rods and turn the boost up. im willing to bet the ko4’s are at their limit here

    E85 + stock block never ever never in my b5 s4.... Bad idea. I have 520hp with normal gasoline.

      Yah I have ran e85 and e54 in my S4 for the past 4yrs but we only have 91 in AZ. I have a lot of customers running e85 on stock block it’s all about controlling tq onset.

      I have not been able to find info on a B5 S4 with stock block and K04s that has made more power to the wheels then this car did. My car made 530hp and 485tq and this one made more.
