Gerard was straightforward about having continued issues with a mouth abscess. Which he also had during the recording of Bullets 22 years ago. The man goes through therapy to adjust to it, comes back to us after years of no live performance, is sober, looks incredible & most of all seems HAPPY. He is one of the most talented, hard-working and inspiring artists we have had in 2 decades. And you have the balls to cut him down? Yeah that’s not what this community is about & it certainly has nothing to do with their message that we all still desperately need. Like get the hell outta here

His vocal range and breath control for this performance is definitely not on par with his previous performances. A lot of artists and bands from 20 years ago haven't survived or are suffering the same problems due to lower performance schedules or putting out new records. I will recognize and respect his courage a drive to get back on stage, though. Definitely shows dedication to his craft in some ways. Gerard and the rest of the Romance are still one of my favorite bands.

It's still amazing to watch them performing this song at the stage. I heard this song way back 2009, and I am just an elementary pupil that time. But, now that I'm fully grown up, I can say that they still have gas in their tank. Some may say they're getting old, but that's the beauty of music, it serves as a relic of the past. At least he can still hold a note, even live. He didn't thrash his throat like other vocalists I've known and worked with. As for his breath control, I realized after commenting, I was thinking about it in the wrong way. They haven't been putting on shows as much. Not a surprise. Could use improvement, and I imagine if he and the rest were to keep putting on shows for another 10 years or five at least, it will improve.

But learned enough to do my own productions for local bands in Vegas. Not much work as people are doing it on their own in their bedrooms and hip hop and rap doesn't need real instruments apparently.
