***** I've been hitting other lakes too and didn't have any luck at them. This was a good spot so I stuck with it. It was a lot of digging to find it all. Thanks for the comment.
You have been busy! Thats quite a few good finds. Ive never seen such a collection of religious pendants come from one location. Crazy. I don't get the spoons thing either. We recently found an old fork. I think its our first one.
I'm guessing you have found yourself an old bathing beach. I found one last year, great digging. Good luck and definately keep going back, especially after winter as the water will move more stuff around. HH
Brewing Digger It was a popular spot back in the 40s and 50s. I'm definitely going back, I have no other good spots to go to, lol. Thanks for watching.
wow very very impressive way to go on all the nice finds on the 10k class ring if you have an acid test kit use the 10k acid put some drops on leave it for a bit will eat off a lot of the muck or you could try Mothers Aluminum polish might help too
if you get the acid get a stone. do a scratch test. That way you don't damage the ring. you take the ring and rub it on the stone. then put a drop or two of the acid. if the color is still on the stone it is either 10k or higher, then put another good scratch of the ring on the stone and use 14k if it stays it is 14k if disappears it's 10k for sure.
lookin4zinc This stuff is all really deep in the sand. I wouldn't have found most of it with discrimination on. All the other lakes I've been too had nothing good. Thanks for watching.
Theory on the spoons........kids probably brought them in to play in the sand or mud. Or from families picnicing nearby. The abnormally high number of regious medals....could it have been an area of baptisms? Or an area that religious schools used for outings? You didn't name the lake but that would be my best guess.
That looks like it provides! Even for a dozen hunts that's so pretty cool finds.
Those are some really great finds!! I wish I had a spot like your lake where I could find all of those goodies in one month!! Awesome!

The pin with the 250 on it was a check for a bathhouse where you changed. Give the pin back and claim your items that you chedked. GL and HH Hugh
farenheit1100 That makes sense, thanks for telling me.
the ring with out the mark was probobly sized and the caret mark was removed with the sized metal .
pins like that were used as clothes check back in the early 1960,s
nice video I like the coins
spoons.... if it was a busy beach at one time....kids probably dug in the sand with the spoons
Kids get taken to the lake to play. They love to dig and are forgetful. Thus the spoons only.
AWESOME MAN!!!!
