I know what it looks like now, as I have it in my garage. Still goes great, blue spot brakes are the best, I've added a small bug screen, it's ridden often, real fun bike to ride, still screams along. Still have the same keyring
Nice one; GREAT 'bikes for their time (had one in '83) and STILL much fun... I love a lot of the 'hybrids' out there these days! - I had Allspeed 'pipes; What are those just out of interest?
Have to admit I preferred the look of the original 250 and 350 LCs, the curves etc just looked better. I know the power valve performed slightly better but lost the iconic visual of the model before IMHO
This one is like the 2T Oil well adjusted... He must have left the Mixer at the minimum as to be yes... Otherwise it makes more smoke all the time and also ends up with whatever 2T oil is in the reservoir... Congratulations by Linda TZ350 ;) ... ;) !
Is this not called a RD because it's in the state's. In 1989 an RD350 was £3500 which I thought was a lot of money for a 350. The FJ 1200 was only £4500 . Which I thought made more value for money. I bought one for £4500 in February 90. After I lost my job in 2006 I sold it in the October to finish my mortgage. It was sold by Bonhams for £4100. Which was pristine condition 7k on the clock.
@@philipbooth7779 you have them mixed up. The Rd wasn't made in 1989 it was the detuned rz. Probably to try and meet California's stricter emissions regulations. My brother had an fj1100 and my Rd ate it for breakfast. It did have expansion chambers, dual stage reeds and a pretty sick port job. On the down side it had a bigger drinking problem than me.

DEAR SANTA...
I used to have one. Wish I still did.
Popping wheelies back to 1991 with it...great no brake machine
This really was a legend back in the day
Which would you rather have this for £3500 or a FJ 1200 for £4500 as they were in 1989. I opted for the FJ.
