My Dyson v8 Hepa filter was great at first but after 3 years it allowed the machine to leak dust in the exhaust. I do think age has a factor as well.

Good video; it's worth noting that the Dyson V8 was not a complete filter system like the Dyson V10/V11/V15 models. At the time of the Dyson V8 release, there weren't entire system filtrations available in cordless vacuums most likely due to their low CFM of power. The new Dyson vacuums are way more powerful and fully filtered systems. No doubt Tineco is leading the way with their much lower priced products still offering a full filtration system with their well priced vacuums. I hope Tineco begins to compete with the V11+ models of Dyson at a better price point given the high failure rate of Dyson batteries. Anyone questioning the Dyson's relability issues should just look at how many refurbished dysons are on the market for all their models and products across the board. They are notorious for selling large amounts of refurbs due to the high failure rates on their flagship products. Completely unrelated I enjoy your purifier videos and really hope to see more of them in the future. I currently am running Lasko box fans sealed with four 20x20x1 merv 13 3m filters and it does an amazing job compared to way more expensive purifiers sold on the market. While it may be butt ugly, it's certainly amazing at keeping drywall dust out of the air while doing home repairs or shop work such as sawing.

When the V8 was introduced, Dyson marketed it as a sealed system with a HEPA filter. What’s actually interesting to note is that they don’t refer to any of their cordless vacuums as having a HEPA filter anymore, except for the V15 Detect +

Glad to see you're still sticking around with reviews.
    I have a request tho.
I need a new vacuum and I'm so prone to buy a cordless one. I was looking mainly for a stick vacuum like the A11/Dyson but corded! Are there, on the market, corded stick vacuum with HEPA filtration and fully sealed?
I have a budget around the A11 Master price.
    Thank you!

What kind of testing? Why not show how this named vacuum was tested to prove it's validity?
Test the air before and after use perhaps maybe 15 minutes of use afterwards?
Then the CLEANING aspect i see so many people just walk over and dump the contents into the garbage container in the house likely releasing al sorts of crap into the air.
Then there is the mention of cleaning with water,is that good enough to clean possible mold for example off the surfaces?
An example is Dyson CLAIMS it's fully sealed vacuums can remove even viruses and micros down to .1 has anyone proven this has any legit third party testers proven any of the claims?
HOW can one even test the claim of removing viruses you would have to have a known virus in the air and to have some means of monitoring it in the air then to know if it was actually removed?
Then if they do remove viruses what about the handling of the machine afterwards like cleaning it and how soon after?

You can't wash a HEPA filter with water...

    • @WatsitTooyah

I think some are made of synthetic fibers that can get wet but probably shouldn't be brushed
