I’d think Vegeta would be terrified and angry at beerus too, as it was the threat of his own wife and children being erased that brought him SSBE. It is not hard to see beerus pulling the same stunt on himself.
I half expected Gohan to tell beerus that he'd kill him if he ever tries a stunt like that again. And I mean, he says it as crudely and bluntly as possible. Gohan seems more like the character who'd throw blatant death threats at Beerus for something like this.

The title says "to punish Gohan" but Beerus wasn't punishing him, he was trying to get him to release his true hidden potential. "Beerus Resurrects Cell to Push Gohan" would be more accurate.

Considering this is a fan manga that maybe a possibility. In reality that only existed with Trunks in its lightest form in super. All the death, slaughter and misery that was experienced and witnessed by the saiyan Saga especially by Gohan at a very young age. Nobody got traumatized. Gohan at worst just got a distaste for fighting which is entirely understandable.
Not to mention that it's clear (in my opinion) that Gohan fully intends to let Beerus know how he **REALLY** feels about what he did... I really want to see him go all out against Beerus for Videl and Pan's sakes. 😳😍

Meanwhile, Cooler is asking Frieza, "What harm is there in improvement?" Vegeta almost forgot that after a long journey, one would need time to recharge one's batteries before doing anything else!
I cannot tell you how satisfying it is to see Cell fail at his quest for vengeance & sent back to whatever’s hell he’s been brewing in for years. Definitely an interesting way to bring him back, one I wouldn’t mind seeing in official canon.

Vegeta is right for once, Gohan, as Arrogant and Abraisive as he is. even Piccolo sees it, and knows you probably the best out of everyone. you have to find that balance. you have to train and become strong enough to protect your loved ones, and still be able to spend time with them and be a great father and husband. they rely on you, depend on you. what kind of father and husband can you honestly call yourself if you cant provide them a happy , safe and peaceful life. I know this is difficult. I know you're conflicted. look at it objectively. you are given gifts people could only hope and dream of having, yet you squander them in your contentment, but fail when you are tested. if you hadn't hesitated, videl might still be alive. pan might still be alive. you hesitated because you were scared. you didn't want to have to do what you knew you had to do. now you let your rage get to your head and want cell to pay for what he had done. I wont deny he deserves everything you're going to give him, and more. he deserves an agonizing defeat, completely overpowered, nothing but a scared helpless rabbit desparate to escape the trap he sprung unto himself. but that misses the point entirely Lord Beerus is responsible for your loss and cell's resurrection. if anyone is worthy of your hate and fury and unrelenting wrath, it's the destroyer god. you deserve revenge for him overstepping the line so arrogantly and imperiously. you need to reach heights of power and strength that even eclipse your father and Vegeta to even that score. to teach him a hard lesson he wont ever forget. Honestly. Gohan in this fan manga needed this. Yes! It was extremely overkill but Berrus was thinking long term rather than just wanting to see a good fight. Goku is not gonna be there forever and Gohan needs to realize that he needs to take up the responsibility of protecting the planet when his father is gone. Cause this is what you call a plausible scenario and Gohan wasn’t prepared to fight his mortal enemy, if he was suddenly revived out of no where.
This has all the energy of a DM in D&D choosing something inherently risky for the players to tackle, and subsequently watching (panicking internally) as a near TPK takes place. Only this time, the DM is an actual character in the story, which is terrifying. It's a bit of a missed opportunity that Cell didn't get any farther than he did, if he had he may have almost forced Beerus to accept full responsibility for the blunder... Assuming he didn't get killed. Imagine for a moment, if you will, a humbled Beerus.
I was about to say First time you brought Cell back he did some stuff you didn't say to do and you reverted it Second time and Gohan would've become the first Saiyan G.O.D
The fact this story is better than any story the true author came up since the tournament of power is a proof that the fans cares more about the story than the one getting money from it XD
But honestly, bringing cooler or any fan favorite movie villain always make it feel extremely fanficy. But is is still one of the most grounded yet I think.
Better Cell, and better Gohan arc than the official movie, nicely done. I hope they do the story more like this if they do Beast Gohan in anime series form.
Gohan potential is insane cause keep in mind before the T.O.P he was still buu saga level and trained with piccolo for only a good 2-3 days and jumped from buu saga to equal to goku going blue

I don't like how beerus being responsible for the death of gohans family was just swept under the rug with the dragonballs like that made it any better. Gohan wanted to live a normal life and honestly the whole ordeal should have left him traumatised and angry in the end, not full of confidence that he needed to get stronger. Gohan's metal state would likely have been permanently altered because of this and it wouldn't be strange to see him having bursts of anger at people, and even cruelty as he relives cell killing his child.
Poor Gohan. He never f$cks around be he always has to find out. He's in the uncomfortable spot where he should know better by now that he has to power to protect the people he cares about, even if he hates fighting. When trouble comes to you that many times, you gotta just accept the need to be prepared at some point. I don't blame him for not wanting to fight, but I do kinda blame him for not getting a clue...

Gohan and Beerus need to fight, and Gohan needs to whoop beerus. Its bad enough that Beerus was responsible for reviving cell in the first place and giving him power, but to have Cell kill Videl is low. Cell killing Pan ALSO falls to Beerus, for reviving him in the first place, and sending him after Gohans family. I know this is just a comic, but it hits a lil too close in my mind. Beerus does all this, and expects everything to be fine and go without consequences. Gohan needs to fold him.
If they really wanted cell back they could have wrote that cell made another cell jr right before he instant transmission back to earth when he first self destructed

Story line and artwork is awesome. First time watching this, instantly fell in love with it. Better than regular anime episodes. I give it 10/10. With two thumbs up.

Would of preferred that after defeating Cell Gohan would of snapped Beerus's jaw off for what he did but obviousy that probably wouldn't be possible.
Plot Twist: Gohan's playing the long game and will fight Beerus once he's absolutely POSITIVE he can beat him.

This has all the energy of a DM in D&D choosing something inherently risky for the players to tackle, and subsequently watching (panicking internally) as a near TPK takes place. Only this time, the DM is an actual character in the story, which is terrifying.
It's a bit of a missed opportunity that Cell didn't get any farther than he did, if he had he may have almost forced Beerus to accept full responsibility for the blunder... Assuming he didn't get killed. Imagine for a moment, if you will, a humbled Beerus.

I don't like how beerus being responsible for the death of gohans family was just swept under the rug with the dragonballs like that made it any better. Gohan wanted to live a normal life and honestly the whole ordeal should have left him traumatised and angry in the end, not full of confidence that he needed to get stronger. Gohan's metal state would likely have been permanently altered because of this and it wouldn't be strange to see him having bursts of anger at people, and even cruelty as he relives cell killing his child.

He's in the uncomfortable spot where he should know better by now that he has to power to protect the people he cares about, even if he hates fighting. When trouble comes to you that many times, you gotta just accept the need to be prepared at some point. I don't blame him for not wanting to fight, but I do kinda blame him for not getting a clue...

Gohan and Beerus need to fight, and Gohan needs to whoop beerus. Its bad enough that Beerus was responsible for reviving cell in the first place and giving him power, but to have Cell kill Videl is low. Cell killing Pan ALSO falls to Beerus, for reviving him in the first place, and sending him after Gohans family. I know this is just a comic, but it hits a lil too close in my mind. Beerus does all this, and expects everything to be fine and go without consequences. Gohan needs to fold him.
