Love the pipes think the shifter is cool but once you’ve ever driven one over 4 million miles. You kinda like a touch more quiet and forget the shifting. The new generation automatics have made real strides for long haul work. Still like the fun and the fact Jared gets fun from it. I was right there too 👍. Great content

Backwards and downhill works every time. I know Jered loves them pipes, but lord I'm glad I don't have to listen to them all day. It does sound good when the Jake comes on, though.

the cylinder cracking at the weld is usually not a bad weld but a tube wall that is to thin, engineering/design issue. the tube flexes and blows up like a balloon fatiguing the weld where the eye end is attached preventing it from expanding under pressure. typically the cylinder probably worked properly when origonally designed and used in a lower pressure application but for some reason has been put into an application at higher pressure or is subject to pressure spikes caused by continous impact loading.

Awesome video bud. Your kids are all funny you can tell they have good personalities. Maybe when you’re 80 they will take over your TH-cam channel lol. I know a couple guys that have had to swap knives/paddles more this year at least where I’m at it’s been really heavy crop if you can get through it without getting stuck.
Those large concrete bunkers of grass feed (sorry for the description) show just how much work this chopper does, imagine all that lot through one chopper. What a key machine and no wonder it's maintenance hungry.

The ole 900 is back to singing the song of my people!! Not gonna lie I was a bit heart broken when you out the mufflers on her and took away her singing voice. Glad to hear her loud and proud again. Stylin and profilin for sure. Keep the hammer down and be safe boys!

All my 20 years in the service driving semi if it had a trailer on it and it got stuck it's always easier to pull them out backwards

The straight pipes sound awesome
After bugging him I got my boss to out straights on my truck & I'd be on the ladder with a brillo pad atleast every 2 wks to clean off the bugs & keep them shiney. May not wash the rest of the truck but made sure the pipes were clean. I prefer the turnouts though, 8 inche pipes turned out to a 45° angle!!! Plus turnouts help keep the rain water out.

The chopper uses a lot of fuel but it pales comparison to the fleet of trucks running while chopping.
Make sure when in pit don't get overcome by fumes if any. Have a good wk everybody.

We quit using chains years ago and only use straps. Much smoother than the chain with the stretch.

Couple times little bit too high RPM than the Jays don't sound good and it's hard on the motor but otherwise very cool maybe you're still getting used to some things been there and done it for the very young when I had my opportunity to cat Motors in Peterbilts 379 Let er Rip

There isn't another engine that sounds as good as a straight piped twin turbo C15 to me, Detroit and Cummins are cool too but I'll stick with my C15 18 speed.
