Hi Dave and Sue- you're getting closer!! Nice camping spot- good for a one night stay. Sounds like there was a heavy rain overnight!! Fun to get a few nice treats for breakfast- we love genuine French Baguettes!! Pretty sunrise :) Take care guys!! - Jen
Thanks very much Graham Very kind of you. It was a big relief to finally get away from the bad weather we had been through. And the Aqueduct was breathtaking. Really incredible to see it. We’ve been looking forward to visiting that for years and it didn’t disappoint! It was a strange feeling to suddenly feel and see the change in the climate and the landscape. Thanks again mate and have a good week 👍👍
Looks like a delightful place to stop. The aqueduct was amazing - I hope to see one in person someday. Ooo, and those pastries! The Apple tarts must have been delicious! Very exciting to be getting to Spain. 😊
Yes it’s been brilliant Donna. We’re so lucky to be able to do this. We had two hot days and it’s now cooled down a bit but still beautiful to be here. That Aqueduct was absolutely breathtaking!
Sounds like my kind of breakfast, yum.. hope you are enjoying your trip, we still have snow, although the weather is getting much warmer thankfully. take care folks xx
Thanks Lindsay. You guys stay safe out there. We’ve seen the ultra low temps back home. It’s amazing - our local lake was completely frozen over!! We’re getting the cold air moving down here today. They’re forecasting a ground frost tomorrow!
@NBNatureTrailvan the snow is melting but we now have ice to contend with, but it is so mild that should disappear soon, I hope. Hope the bad weather misses you guys and goes elsewhere
@ it’s really weird here Lindsay. We were expecting a high of 13 degrees. But we’re sitting in a square and we can feel the Sun burning. We’re sweltering and everyone else has coats on. You guys will love it travelling down here
Hang on a minute guys..don't you have a habit of catching early bin wagons? 🤔😂 I seem to recall similar on your last Europe adventure..lol Your French on the way back from the boulangeri is amazing by the way.. 😉 Nice to see you found the blue skies finally.. safe travels to you both.! 🙏 😊
🤣🤣🤣. It’s true Phil. We’re always up before 5am so it didn’t bother us. But people here seem to stay in bed til 9, so it must have woken them all up 😃. What a racket it was 😃 I have no idea in French and literally about three words of Spanish but we’re coping. I ordered a beurre crepe but brought back a bottle of beer because I was too embarrassed to say 🤦🏻♂️😃 Will catch up with vids in the next couple of days 👍
Watched this video yesterday but never had chance to comment as family things going on..lovely to see you travelling to sunshine as your really going for this adventure, more so you guys have really taken to this van life and travels, so pleased for you and you should have done this years ago...Were looking forward to uk summer as not a winter person..enjoy you two..atb K n S & Rubes
Tanks mate. Yep we absolutely love it and we really wish we had done it sooner. Being able to wake up in a different place with a different view each day has been something that I never imagined. Just absolutely love it. We feel very lucky. You stay well Kev.
Happy Sunday Dave and Sue - You made it to the coast and to warmer weather in the end. The contrast from how you started up in the mountains and how you at the end had sunshine at the beach is quite pronounced! And it it well deserved after the days with poor weather you have had in France! I must say that the Pont du gard is very impressive and quite a feat of engineering. That they managed to build a water canal with that level of precision 2000 years ago is just amazing and the thing is still standing there. So the engineers at that time had skill and knowledge that seems to be lacking in some modern projects (HS2?). And a lovely breakfast you picked up for Sue. I do wonder how that apple pie tasted:) You take care and enjoy life on the coast in Spain this week and have fun as you soon will have 2K subs:) All the best, Ant
HS2. 🤣🤣. Indeed Ant! What an incredible feat versus an incredible white elephant! Just couldn’t believe the engineering - it was literally breathtaking to stand there and see it! The Tarte de Pomme was delicious - it’s great trying the local delicacies everywhere we stop. We’ve made it to our first site. and we’re already getting itchy feet! We really learned once again that the big sites are ok but maybe not for us. Have a great week ahead any. And thanks again mate. You’re so right. The contrast in just under two hours drive was incredible. The temperature increased, the wind dropped and the rain finally stopped!!
We have stayed there twice before and it’s a very popular stopover. Good location off several good roads too. Raining again 😮 Oooo cakes and bread looks nice. Lovely sunrise. The weather should improve from here on. You still have a good way to go before you hit the Spanish border. Drive safely and have fun 😃👍🏻🚐 💙 Trev n Sue
Cheers Trev We chased the weather and it’s now chasing us again 🥶. We have had a few hot days at least. 😃 We really loved that site and the Pont du Gard takes your breath away doesn’t it. Absolutely incredible engineering feat! Thanks for all the inspiration mate. 👍🙏
I can only imagine the delight in seeing the sea for the 1st time after your long journey through France - we get excited when we see the sea on our trip to Cornwall which is only about 4hrs drive haha! I've definitely decided to do a similar trip to you next January to France/Spain - as the "boss" has decided that as we have the time.........we need to do a full redecoration job on our master bedroom!!! Not fun!!!😁
Oh it’s just wonderful out here Robin. I was a bit nervous that it would all be a bit tacky on these big sites. But it’s not. There is so much to do and the weather is a bit like late April in the UK Without the rain! Hope that decorating doesn’t take too long. Glad I got ours out of the way before we left!!!
It’s great we’re about five days behind with the vlogs. We’re now down near Crevillent. Two days of 23 degrees. And today it’s 14 but still feels warm with no wind. You’ll have a great time 👍👍
Hi Jeremy. We’re absolutely loving this trip so far. And we’ve sort of realised that we want to see so much more of Spain. We will never get to see all the diverse areas here but would love to get to see some of the bigger towns and cities. Segovia looks wonderful. We were absolutely blown away by the Pont du Gard and want to discover more of the history of Spain so Segovia will definitely go on the list. Such a beautiful country with such friendly people.
Hiya. It’s near a little place called Remoulins which isn’t far from Avignon. We parked up in the Camping Car Park there and it’s about a 25 minute walk from there It’s breathtaking!!
Thank you for sharing. It's lovely to see how you get on travelling and stopping in various sites/locations. As well as adding a UK sticker for entering Spain, did you have to relign your headlights to go to Europe or did you add the sticker on them? Happy Safe Travels 🎉
Hi Andrew. We just added the sticker on each light. We did it when we were over last time too. Just a pack from Halfords and easy to fit. 👍 Cheers for you lovely comment. We’re just loving our second trip to Europe. Some crazy weather to get down South but it’s now bright and warm.
Thank you so much. Glad you’re enjoying the vlogs. We started off using the CAMC satnav which was frankly useless. So in the Summer tried using that and Google Maps. But we ended up in a couple of difficult situations. So for this trip we’ve purchased the Sygic app - about £45. You can add your vehicles dimensions. Height, length etc. it’s proved really good. The only downside is that it couldn’t find a couple of final campsite destinations. So we used it to get near and then Google maps on the phone for the last few yards. Having both has been great. Always knowing that we have a back up if needed. And with Sygic you can adjust the average speed so it’s an accurate forecast of the time the journey will take. Google maps is always too optimistic on driving time. But using both works well for us. Hope that all helps and thanks again👍🙏 Have a great week ahead.
Camping-car by the river looks nice. Interested to know if you've got the Avtex wifi fitted. I've had lots of trouble with mine not connecting and I know others like Bob Ernshaw did. I now use a £40 Wifi router that works faultlessly. Love the bridge
No I have a Maxview Roam. It’s been great in the UK. But difficult to resolve any issues in Europe. The help desk just keep telling me to switch it on and off 😃

Cheers Soren. It’s now really warm down near Alicante.
14 degrees C here seems a lot warmer than 14 degrees back home!!
Thank you!
Cheers Dennis. 👍🙏👍
A charming presentation of your travel to this splendid place. An excellent sharing indeed.
Thanks so much. Very kind of you. 👍🙏
Nice video Dave and Sue. Thank you for sharing. Have a great week ahead 😊

@ Same to you
Wow! Aqueduct looked amazing 👍Graeme
It was breathtaking to see it Graeme. Hope you guys are well. 👍
I can feel the warmth guys. 😉 Always fancied Southern France
Yep it was beautiful Kev. Much more expensive there than in Spain though!

Hi Jen.
Yes the breakfasts are one of the absolute highlights of this trip! 😃
We feel very lucky that we are able to do this!
Nice video! I’m glad you’re able to start enjoying warmer winter weather now ! Definitely beats the previous awful weather you had! Thanks for sharing
Yes it’s been great since then. We’ve been very lucky here this past week. 👍👍
That was a great video the joy as the rain was going nice parkups and the Roman aqueduct was amazing 😊😊👏👏
Thanks very much Graham Very kind of you.

Wow! The aqueduct is amazing! 2000 years old? Wow!
Safe travels N&Nx
It’s breathtaking. Really can’t believe how they did that while in Britain we were still so primitive relatively.
i toured there a few times on my moterbikes back in the late 70,s , i lived on Frence bread and strong coffe
😃. Nothing better.
Yes such a gorgeous area - such a shame that the weather was so dreadful for us.
