- Camping, fishing and relaxing on a beautiful sand bar that we have all to ourselves along the Mighty Murray River. Plenty of fish about, some big carp and even got a feed of yabbies! Setting up camp right on the banks meant Shannon didn't have to venture too far when the bells went off which is every Fishermans dream!! The weather turned it on as we soaked up the last of the sunny warm weather and I had plenty of barefoot time.

Camped on the Murry years ago. I remember it being freezing cold at night. Thank goodness for the good old campfire.

Can't beat a good campfire roast spud with garlic butter and some salt and pepper but the following morning with left over roast spuds cut in half scoop out the center fill with a cracked egg and some diced bacon wrap in foil and sit in the coals for a egg and bacon potato breaky boat. Mash the scooped out centre with a fork add some gated cheese and a egg mix together lil bit of salt and pepper and the make patties for some camp hash browns on the hot plate 👌

We do same on islands in my home town. Camp all weekend fish hunt swim just pure relaxing some times

Question to you, did you have to reduce your tyre pressure, l am new to 4wd and learning as l go your video look great l see you both had a great time.
Not to get to this place no the tracks were great and the sand was very firm
