I agree prayer is essential. I'm homebound and not been to a church in 2 years. I miss getting the sacraments of Jesus. And desperately need to go to confession
Are you in eastern Massachusetts? I can bring you Holy Eucharist.
Aw they can get someone to take the Host to you and I'm sure a Priest could hear your confession too. Give your local Church a call.

My daughter is homebound and our parish brings her Holy Communion and the Sacraments of the Anointing of the sick every first Friday. Perhaps your local church can do the same for you! My daughter has also been able to make her Confession when she has asked.

Thank you, Father. I always feel such anxiety when preparing to go and standing in line for confession. I go to confession every 4 - 6 weeks, usually, and it is so difficult for me. I will try to pray more and remember the cost of this sacrament and try to focus less on myself.
Yes it can be difficult, Bishop Barron on one of his Word on Fire talks said about the grace of God that no matter how much we run from God we are running towards the open arms of Jesus. It helps me I hope it helps you

thank you for this father, I've always had difficulty going to confession and properly repenting, I often end up continuing to feel guilty and unworthy after confession, but when you said to focus on giving thanks instead of on your sins it's like something just clicked.

Father Mark thank you for including all us sinners in your roundup, We are all, sometimes afraid to be loved by the Lord. But, as a child I remember with pure glee walking out of confessional with a picture of an unblemished soul.
Father, I believe most of the items you've mentioned are included in the description of the 10 commandments on the catechism, including the social/ecological sins. Nevertheless, referring to the beatitudes is an amazing idea. Thanks!

Our Family stay in Repentance with Penential Prayers at Church for Family member - Sister Nonreligious (Nonchristian) Marriage before Lord Jesus Christ. Now We are staying within Our Own Catholic Values and moved on with New Beginning.

Father, do you have any control over the ads displayed on your video? Lume is cutting in on your video with ads worded so that it sort of sets up a real challenge to receive this in a prayerful disposition.
Father, I used to love arriving early for Mass and having some quiet time with the Lord before Mass. However, the people in our church, talk as loud as they're in a restaurant. I can't concentrate with loud talking. Should I just spend quiet time at home, then just come to Mass when it starts?

Hey i have a question regarding my father that has started to join me and my brother in church after we, his sons converted and started to take the faith more seriously.
I'd love for my dad to be able to go to confession. I want him to get Gods mercy and forgiveness and for him to be able to heal his soul. The thing is that he never takes the euqarist or goes to confesion and i think it's probably because hes in a secular unmarried relationship and he knows he can't do it. He now recently had a child with his girlfriend too and even though i'm really happy i got a new sister i'm just so sad if my dad can't participate fully as a catholic. I want his soul to be saved.
Is there any way he can atleast confess in his current state? He is probably never going to abandon his relationship.
