Though I already have extraordinary sons who hover effortlessly with powerful intellect in the verbal GregoryPineosphere, when I listen to these Godsplainers, I long to adopt them, and pack them lunches with little notes on the napkins, and do their laundry so that their whites do not appear to be a hierarchy ascending from washed white as wool, to pure as snow, to golden as the Sun. And Even if Robert Sapolsky is correct that there is no free will, I'm grateful for this distraction from commercially advertised suggestions of desires, toward guidance from the 5 precepts of the Church, 10 Commandments, 7 deadly sins, 7 virtues, and 7 gifts of the Holy Spirit to help point us toward Goodness and away from a disposition to sin. Love you Guys. I thank God for you and your work ever in my prayers.
@@MargaretUIUC What a great comment! It perfectly describes what happens to me with the seminarians in my community: I consider them like my children or my grandchildren, with great affection! 😇😇
❤ I love you guys. I pray that my sons and nephews all turn out as clever, funny, humble and holy as you both. Your mums must be so happy. God bless your mums
There are many options for backing up in Spanish. One sense can be refuerzo, respaldo, copia de seguridad, etc. And on the other sense or meaning retroceder, dar marcha atras, etc. The only challenge is that Spanish in this case has several words and each one may have a slight meaning of the broad meaning that the word or verb back up means in English
Thanks for a great episode! You mentioned a podcast where sister Anna Ray talks about the importance of language. Could you let me know where I could listen this?
The MOST awesome Blessing and Mercy by Jesus is Divine Mercy Sunday - the Sunday after Easter Sunday. This is a promise from Jesus to one of the female Saints (forgot name right now) that not only are ALL your sins forgiven but also the damage left over from these sins. IT IS AN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING BLESSING!!! There are requirements: Confession, Fasting, Mass with Eucharist and a prayer to ask for this right after receiving the Eucharist. If all of these are done well ALL your past and present sins are forgiven as well as the damage caused from those sins. Meaning no Purgatory since the damage has been already removed. Not sure why more priests don't talk about this. I learned this from Fr. Chris Allar of Divine Mercy on TH-cam. Check it out. God Bless!!!
The priest at my parish makes available a guide to examination of conscience that claims that "thinking negative thoughts about someone" is a sin. Oy. Difficult to confess anyway, but esp to someone so clueless about moral theology.
You said "coward" and my head went here th-cam.com/video/DRpV0GePYeM/w-d-xo.html ☺️ great Kenny Rodgers song // 19:14 "richer possession" of my own agency, for reasons, has a lovely ring to it 🎶🎵
I always feel smarter when I understand their witty humor! Great episode
Thanks for clarifying, "not by driving, but by driving the mind," ha!

Thank you very much . This is very helpful.
Para atrás. Back up. :)
As a woman I feel I should point out that while washing your hair every day can damage it most women do take showers every day 😂
I’ve never understood this lifestyle. I wash my hair everyday.
Shower cap for the win 😂

I really should take notes as there are so many fantastic quips in their podcast.
