I bought the Series Z in titanium Steve some time ago & I love it! Yes the illegibility is a bit of a pain, but it’s a lot better on the Z compared to this. I like the fact CIGA Design definitely thinks outside the box.
How do you feel about the ceramic case if you drop the watch on concrete surface, will it break? Yeah I’m one of those few people few people with a 8.5 inch wrist. Watch does look gorgeous and I like skeleton watches.
I tend to like CIGA's skeletonized watches and own the ONLY one of theirs I find properly readable (the Z Series in black... any other colorway gets dicey very fast) but for me, if I can't easily read the time on it, it's not a watch! It's a mechanical bracelet. I like the materials angle on this one but because of that's it's a very easy pass for me.
It costs that much but the caseback is mineral glass? Not to mention the pin and collar system on the bracelet instead of screws. How dissapointing. Was very excited when I saw "ceramic".
@@PINKFL0YD-s2h lol, I only went so in depth on the packaging because my last ciga video someone said I didn't give enough props to the unboxing experience. I put in timestamps for a reason 🤣
I'll be damn honest Steve and you don't have to reply (your silence will...). [Friendly rant starts. Moved it a bit down, so it doesn't show...😏] CIGA is a brand that aimed to another audience and succeeded. Marketing had to go through many YT channels, still does. None of you (thankfully, those i'm watching anyway) praised the brand for making "solid" watches, nor a "tool" or an "everyday" one. Discussion starter pieces is one mode of calling them, interesting, bit wow and so on. But for all of you, it's a free piece you move on to get funds, let's not hide behind our finger. Somehow, this, pisses me off, but i totally get it too. Especially now that there is a market for those, as brand is known and some(???) buy these. For watch weirdos like us, it's a video wasted. We may have some fun on these, point some things we like and that's that. I'm not pointing a finger at you, you and I know how the game plays. I'm just a bit on the "oh f0ck, here we go again, a new crap from CIGA" side, that's all. Cheers, be well, waiting for a new (normal?😋) watch vid review. PS If anyone wants to object all this, let me just say that NOTHING can change my mind on it. As Mae West said, "When i'm good, i'm very good, but when i'm bad, i'm better". And funny, if i may say. But not stupid...
I don't disagree with you at all. Like I say through most of these odd-ball watches...they aren't for me, but they are for someone. there's 3 aspects for a review like this. either someone doesn't know about it, and finds the review helpful someone is looking for a review and want's to know if the watch is as advertised or how it looks incertain lighting etc. or the rest of us, that will probably pass on watching the review all together. I keep telling CIGA that these watches don't cater to my audience...they are consistently the worst performing videos...but they want me to review them. and yes, they also bring money to the channel when I flip them (like most watches you see on the channel) I have to keep the channel going somehow...and I won't deny the fact that I sell most of my watches once the reviews are complete...some stick around (I'm a watch nerd with about 60 watch slots after all) but most go to new homes...it's literally the only way to keep the channel afloat. youtube funds aren't cutting it :)
@@EscapeWheel Ikr mate. As already told you, we both (you especially) know how this HAS to go. PS I've seen sheets of watches, to be sold, by you, in Reddit (in very very good prices, but import taxes will blow them to their normal price for me! LOL). But always thank you, among others, for the reviews you make so we buy what we like/can. Be well.
@@stavros_katsopr yeah, these cheaper watches don't make much sense to ship overseas...typically $30 on top of the price. I do send them as "gifts" and mark the values low enough...I haven't heard anyone get tagged with import fees yet...but admittedly it's only been a handful of watches.
@@marcelt7203 I don't think they are meant to be pretty. They are meant to be interesting. But yeah, like I said, it's not for everyone, but it is for someone. Thanks for watching either way 👍

Good looking watch. Thank you for a solid review.

@@samnova450 I really don't want to find out. It would probably break, but I have no idea. I dropped a bezel insert once and it broke in 2 pieces
@@EscapeWheel Yeah I think you have to wear it knowing it fragile.
Thank you for your support, we will continue to work hard to create better designs that cater to the diverse preferences of our users.😊
Woah! Comin in hot with the crazy watches! Love seeing this. ❤
man that looks sleek

I get the pin and collar...I'm not sure the ceramic bracelet links could even accept threads without cracking.
I would find myself looking at my phone to see what tiime it is
3:07 get on with it, 😂
3:40 Jesus! FF
I can appreciate it. It's very well done for the money but I'm too old and would look silly wearing it.

The shape looks too much like Apple treid to do something different.
