1998 Jim Clark Rally, in-car with Davies & Hardie - SS2 Whitchester 1 (11.68km)

In-car action from the 1998 Jim Clark Memorial Rally, as we join Tony Davies and Brian Hardie in their MG Metro 6R4. This is the second stage of the event, Whitchester 1.
The source of this material is unclear but based on comments made by Hardie to the camera recording, it may well have been captured by AMTV for team purposes.

An experienced co-driver, Brian. Don't think he'd be terrified - more a case of his voice breaking because he's shouting the notes so loudly to make them heard over the engine. 6R4 cabin noise was infamously loud.

It’s AMTV’s footage, Tony used to hire the camera from Alistair. I have a number of events on vhs of Tony’s in car.
A very quick 6R4 driver who was one of only a few who could stay on pace with JP.
