I actually feel kinda bad for that Russian woman you called. Babushka means "grandmother" and she's trying to tell you she's the grandmother of the guy you're trying to call and she was being friendly about it. Now she's probably gonna think you were being an asshole because you hate Russians or that she caused trouble for her grandson. It's whatever I guess but this is the first call on your show so far that made me feel uncomfortable.
Thanks for the feedback. It's never my intention to make listeners uncomfortable, but keep in mind that I'm purposefully playing the idiot. In this case, I knew what she was saying (my girlfriend is Russian). I'm not sure why she'd think I hate Russians, but I'm always going to say things that are incendiary, moronic, and illogical to get a reaction. Prank calls will inevitably lead to someone being upset, it's a fine line to walk. My aim is to be lighthearted, and do no harm. Hopefully that shines through.
That poor woman who suddenly realized that the full force of the arbitrarily malicious and laconically disinterested local government was remorseless in its determination to pick up her house and move it into the forest.
