funny. yesterday I discovered you and subscribed and today - totally unrelated to your videos - created a fusion clip that uses pEmitter and wanted to reverse it. tried the compound way - works, but not good. then I open YT and see this video. PERFECT timing. and thanks!
LOL, timing is everything! And... yes, pun intended. Welcome, glad you found the place! Sit a spell, enjoy yourself :D Oh, and the pEmitter is cool... my computer hates me when I use it!
@@CreatorReality1 oh yes, the pEmitter tries to destroy the CPU on my PC.. thats why reversing a compound clip was an ugly solution but with your method I can now use the render cache and play the effect in the edit page with no problems.
@@bepowerification That... is awesome! I am so glad to have been helpful with this video [the goal of all my videos, really]. Doesn't help when it comes time to render the final video, though... just time to walk away and let Resolve do its thing :D [if it DOES have an issue - stay tuned, there's another video coming up explaining how to get around THAT problem]
Many thanks - I would not have been able to work it out. Though I did realise to follow the line back from MediaOut to the very last node, but I didn' know which node to put in to reverse the Generator. And if I did work that out, I also didn't know about changing the File name of the Generator to save as a new Generator. Super glad you worked it out.
Hey, I'm glad to help - and I'm glad you saw this! I was really stoked when I figured it out and was able to record a video showing how :D It's just a shame I couldn't complete the circle and make it easier to change the speed. Thanks again for the inspiration, Phil!
Some how I got unsubscribed - no worries have hit that button again! Can you not create (recreate) a macro once you make the change of (-1) for the time and add that into controls of the Macro?
Hey that is really useful thank you 👌💯🌟

I just finished up one of the longest editing videos last night I think this is the weekend I upgrade to 19
Nice! Good luck!
None of my Fusion Generators in 19.1 Studio work. Any suggestions?
Wow, that's a new one by me. Have you restarted your computer since you installed DR 19.1? If not, you might have to re-install it.
@@CreatorReality1 No mine doesn't work either
@@renocamargo5820 I found a supposed fix here: forum.blackmagicdesign.com/viewtopic.php?t=211769&p=1098143

I'm not sure about the macro - honestly, I've never made one. I'll have to give that a go - thanks for the suggestion!
