  • In the last few videos I’ve been emphasizing the importance of nutrient dense eating. It’s a great way to ensure that your body is getting a variety of vitamins, minerals and other bioactive substances to keep everything running smoothly. This last installment of this series is all about the benefits of following a nutrient dense eating pattern. I’ve been highlighting these along the way, so here’s a succinct list that you can always go back to if you need a reminder.

Great information. I am coming to realize the variety of foods I need to consume in a "packed" form. I tried carnivore and it made my auto immune worse (every one is different). So, I am having veg juices with my masticating juicer and I can feel the difference and my bloodwork also reflects this. I take it that. I cannot have fruit juices only veg juices since the sugar effects my auto immune condition and is reflected in the blood work also. I am glad you were not dogmatic about one kind of food over another. Look forward to studies you have researched that perhaps show that in general certain foods taken in a certain way can have a more profound effect.

Thank you! Yes everyone is different. There have been a few studies on both AIP and Wahl's Protocol for autoimmune disease that are based on a nutrient dense approach. The mediterranean diet also does well in lowering inflammation.
