It was 82 that day which was better than 65 here in camp, it was only 1-1/2 hours away but 2000 feet lower in elevation. Thanks for watching Wally

What a great day for you all! I feel pretty lucky buying a piece of property between Kingman, Az and Needles, Ca. I'm not out there much (yet) but those times I am, I will start rock hounding & metal detecting and use some pointers & tips from you👍 Those fire agates are gorgeous! I have picked up pretty rocks for years but I couldn't tell you a name of one of them🤦☺ Well Prospector Paul- Its only going to get better and warmer this year🌟 Happy hunting💯

What do you do with so many fire agates really cool .I was visit my son in that area a few weeks ago .Found some coils fire Agates in his yard .
If you go back look for chocolate brown stones with white quartz caps all over and through them. Behind the quartz caps will be the best fire in most cases. Also cracks or seams in large boulder outcrops may produce showings the material is volcanic activity driven the solution was high silica rich and would produce something resembling cauliflower tops.

This was cool, I just got back from Arizona collecting fire agates
Didn't know there was a Tonopah AZ thought that was in NV, learn something new everyday, well if in AZ should head out to black hills rockhounding site, fire agate everywhere, you'll see as soon as you get out of your car

rain would help in rock hounding, sucks for drywashing gold tho, so we never hope for rain here :)
