Sienna I have the same problem. It’s a height to width ratio problem. Things that fit my shoulders don’t fit my waist, and things that fit my waist are too short.
@@nikkitawarner5721 so long legs??? My torso is shorter by an inch or more compared to others but doesnt make too much of a difference. I was skinnier than her (before having my kid) but my ass was toned and big. I had a problem with dresses going past my waist. I did a wedding shoot recently and my ass got stuck on every gown even with the poofy bottom ones cause it has a bunch of layers so when they pulled it up the last layer would get stuck.

Well, it depends on the taste. Very few girls on these shows choose dresses with sleeves even if they say they really like them. And this dress didn't fit her properly on the stomach and she couldn't get rid of the feeling that something isn't right.

That's the one thing I notice a lot of times, brides come in with long hair and is always covering the front of the dresses.

Well! I get really taunted for being too small by my family, friends and everyone around. I don't look good because I'm too small for every dress.
You really don’t. People think they can make rude hurtful comments because you’re too skinny and it’s only rude to say something if someone is fat. I get told that I don’t look good and that I’d be prettier if I just gained weight (I can’t gain weight to save my life and I eat very well) it’s depressing, it makes you feel like you’re ugly undesirable. Nothing fits. Shopping is a depressing anxiety inducing nightmare and trust me.... you really really don’t want to be too small.

Hannah-Marie I deal with the same issue. Whenever I go to get jeans they’re always pretty baggy, and when i find jeans that fit it reveals how flat my a** is. Lol

The third dress is very simple but it makes her look very beautiful.
That one father of miss America from say yes to the dress that said "i want people to look how beautiful she is in that dress not how beautiful that dress on her." And I have to agree with him again in this episode. She looks absolutely stunning. The dress compliments her a LOT.

"Noone can rock simple like you!" A good friend knows when to speak up in support of who her friend is. Good for her. The bride had already said she and her fiance were not big on PDA's etc, so this seems to follow that idea.

It might have helped her if she did something with her mane of hair. She let it cover the front of the dress and it was messy. If she'd come into the shop with her hair up, I bet she would have gotten a far better impression of the gowns on her.

I think she was just being over acting. She has a good body and of course wedding dresses need to be altered to her size specially if that is just a sample gown.
Also as someone who is engaged and bought her dress a month back bridal sizing runs 2 to 3 sizes small. I’m normal 4/6 more towards 6 and the dress i got was 10 and it won’t zip up my ribcage and bust, (im a D cup with a wider ribcage) but the dress fits my waist perfect where shirts tend to be quite loose. *note: bought a sample dress. So she could be a 0-4, struggle to fit in regular clothes and still fit in standard wedding dresses that are made for models who are sizes 2-4 street size or an 8/10 bridal.
Yeah she doesn't look unusual next to any other people in this clip. Not particularly short or abnormally slim so how hard can it possibly be?
Hi!! Short person here, she means she struggles to find something that won’t be too long or make her look shorter. Believe it or not, sometimes being short runs in the family, so compared to her family, of course she won’t seem shorter than them. Being short is a problem when shopping for clothing, for example, most mid-thigh dresses go to my knees and don’t fit correctly.
Worrying about not fitting into clothes can go both ways, for smaller or bigger people. Let’s not judge others for being self conscious when shopping; it’s 2020, anyone can have body issues, small or large. Let’s not criticize any body types!
Another point I’d like to make, this is a VERY scripted show. Many brides have said the producers ask them to say a bunch of different things so the producers can choose a narrative they like most. Chances are, she doesn’t actually feel this way but they asked her to say it so they could market the episode better. Reality shows aren’t really reality.

Quite often clothes don’t get small enough around the waist - how modern clothes are cut in high street shops is a little boxy and baggy round the waist :/ I’m a normal healthy size but often have to get things taken in

Dress #2 was the best. I think The Bride is not accustomed to being "looked at" or feeling sexy. The 2nd dress was absolutely stunning on her. Showed her cute figure and classy. The dress she chose is boring, but her happiness is all that matters 💗
Before she went shopping for a bridal gown someone should’ve told her that it will be fitted to her body it’s actually custom-made. You try on a sample size then they measure your body. When your dress arrives it should pretty much fit you perfectly but there is still a final alterations.

I agree. It was simple, timeless, gorgeous, structured, and classy. It looked like a custom-made dress from a high-end fashion house. Sadly, too much Disney and RuPaul don't allow people to appreciate the beauty in simplicity.

@Marcel I don't know if I'm special. I only know that I admire a few fashion houses/designers, such as Balenciaga, Valentino, Oscar de la Renta, Givenchy and Carolina Herrera. This dress could've been designed by any of them 10 years ago, now, or can be worn in 10 years from now and still look timeless and well made.
Agree!! Thought it looked timeless and elegant. The second one looked generic and tacky - seen that style so much it’s gonna look so dated very soon.
I loved the second dress especially the sleeves and all of the buttons down the back, it was absolutely stunning! I’m confused though by the title of this video, she doesn’t look that “tiny/slim”. My daughter-in-law is 5’4”, 31 years old and has already given birth to two children... She only weighs 93 to 96 pounds! Now, that’s tiny! (No she doesn’t have an eating disorder.) She’s just extremely active and constantly running around chasing after her 5 and 2 year old.
3rd dress too simple and plain. Maybe sweetheart neckline with fit 'n flare suit her. Great body she got there.

Didn't like it at all. Thought it was awful to be honest. Loved the third one. It looked good on her and flattered her figure. She should avoid the fitted dresses. The A-line suited her body best. That's true with most people.
Me too! It looked like the generic trendy style dress that is going to look very dated in a few years. Boring. The final one was so simple and elegant, preferred it much more.

when the last dress came out, I was like this is too plain, but I actually liked the style of it and it definitely suits her more than the first. I ended up liking the simplicity of it.

Yep when I saw the 1st dress I was like love it till I saw the bottom. Ruffles were a mess. 2nd dress seen so many times plus I agree the stomach part looked weird. Yes it can be altered but benefit of the doubt. Third was the best on her. Made her look amazing. She needed a bling belt or tiara and perfect

The really cool thing about the third dress is that she can accessorize it literally however she wants. She could add any type of bling belt, a veil with intricate beading or crystals, a strand of pearls, more extravagant makeup, super glam diamond earrings... the possibilities are really endless with a simple dress. With an already super extra dress, you have to work around that and consider how to balance the rest of your look, plus you don't want to overwhelm a small frame with a ton of bling, lace, ruffles, and beading. That being said, I think there was a little too much dress for her with the third one, I would like it better if some of the volume was removed from the skirt.
I think she means she’s a very skinny girl, if you look at the back the fabric is snagged a lot to fit her figure- I see some of y’all insulting her in the replies and even out in the open because y’all think she’s “acting insecure” or doing it for a price reduction or something and honestly? Not cool.

The bride annoys me somehow. If she wasnt sure about the third dress she could have tried more dresses. The third dress wasnt right for her. It swallowed her and was too plain. The second dress was so beautiful. I loved the lace sleeves but the top around the chest was too pronounced or something.

I think everyone at Vows is so amazing with their brides anyway, but I really loved that they put absolutely no pressure on Aoife committing in this appointment, and even encouraged her to walk away and think about it.
