A job we have been putting off for years. Now we are grounded from caravanning for a few weeks we get our pool,refurbished. A new technique using Ecofinish and have the Australian and US experts on hand to supervise but we didn’t anticipate rain for a week to ruin the plans !

What (if any) is the warranty of this product? I’ve heard the cost to resurface this product is ASTRONOMICAL because all of this product has to be blasted off so there’s a clean surface to start before anything (even this product) can be reapplied. It does look great and appears that it is much more resistant to chemical imbalance than plaster for sure.

10 year warranty. Not sure about the cost to redo, but sounds a bit like an urban myth. Fibreglass needs to be ground back as well.

@@plainandsimpletravels I was referring to the cost of redoing this product vs a traditional gunite/plaster job (with a life of about 10-15 years). Much cheaper and lifespan is about the same (as long as chemicals are maintained). Honestly, I don’t know anything about a fiberglass over concrete/gunite job. I don’t see many of them done here in the US.

Interesting, concrete with fibreglass surfacing fairly common here.
They say life of this finish is also 10 - 15 years but will only warrant for 10.
The cost of this method was the same as reglassing in today's world. Prior to coved it was much cheaper to reglass it, not any more !

Pool is 15m x 5m. Cost to resurface is about $260 sq metre from memory but you need to check that with repairer. Much the same cost as reglassing
