  • This tutorial will teach you about masking in Adobe Photoshop for iPad. I'll show you three different methods for masking in Adobe Photoshop for iPad using text and an image. As a lettering artist I love including type in my work but the masking methods I show can be applied to all different kinds of artwork. Masking is great for photo compositing and non-destructive editing in Adobe Photoshop. It's a very useful tool and I hope that this masking tutorial helps you. Have a question? @@AGFDesignStudio I’m 51 so no huge plans, but I would love,love to do some freelance designing just to be able to feed my addiction to creativity and making things. I also have a small business now that I want to take to the next level . The degree is mostly just to prove to myself that I can. I mean it when I say you help so much. I was on the verge of tears trying to figure stuff out on my iPad. Oh and I love the fact that someone who looks like me is so knowledgeable and awesome at teaching 👋🏽💋

    Hello, I discovered your channel, very interesting. How would you rate the functionality of Photoshop iPad compared to the computer version? I'm very interested in switching to iPad soon.

    I use photoshop on my PC and Adobe premiere. Just switched over to Apple everything iPhone pro max MacBook Pro and this iPad Pro. I hear there are some missing features which has me hesitant to pay for PS on my iPad. I need PS to make thumbnails for my kids YT channel would the missing features be a deal breaker in your opinion? I’m trying to maximize the “pro” in this machine

      Hi Mike! Great question. In my opinion, the current features on the app are more than enough for creating thumbnails for TH-cam (this is the workflow I use for my own thumbnails actually). Also, you mentioned you have Photoshop on your PC so you should be able to have access to Photoshop for the iPad under that plan at no additional charge. Just use your Adobe ID to sign in. And you’ll always have the option to open your Photoshop for iPad files on your desktop if you need to. Hope that answers your question but let me know if you have any others 👍🏾

    • @duzzie08
      @duzzie08 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well…… my desktop version was acquired a little on the unscrupulous side so that’s not an option 😂 however since last night I purchased the iPad version and realize I can’t even add a stroke to text or images 😢. I don’t think this version will work for me past the trial version

    • @AGFDesignStudio
      @AGFDesignStudio  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh I see 😅 Well in that case, yes the app in its current state probably won’t work for you in that sense but I’ll be keeping the channel up to date with updates that come to Photoshop for iPad so hopefully not all hope is lost forever lol
