The horse ears are an easy fix. Just cut a tear drop piece of leather, pinch the fat end use fit into ear holed with a little glue of any kind. You can make a pattern out of paper first to get the right 15:12 size. This would take 5-10 minutes and voila.
Girl!!! 😂That doll & your crazy laugh had me laughing too hard. Those bags! That coach! All of it. You should be able to fix those ears no problem. What a shopping trip. ❤
*@adel531 - Julie can also glue them together and use them as a tall, skinny vase (like she did with the woven basket weave napkin rings in a previous video) and use it to hold faux flowers or an architecturally interesting branch or two tucked into it.😊*
Wow you really scored today! Tori Birch and Marc Jacobs in one day, with Coach added in.. awesome! You found some really good rusty crusty pieces too! It was definitely A good day😊
That doll you picked up was hilarious, she looked SOOO spooky. "Our shabby cottage" just mentioned you on your wonderful design idea's, Love both your channels. Great stuff today. I'm guessing you spent around $30,
I love that your husband, goes thrifting with you too👍You bought so many amazing pieces...cannot wait to see how you recover the little stool❤..Omg that dolls face😱😂
Use some Awesome with your Mr. CleanEraser. I was a Head Custodian for a lot of years. They work great together. I cleaned a lot of walls and, different things using them both together.
*@debk6958 - yes, it is - and I really like it❣️👍🏼👌 I have seen them with plastic handles in white, red, brown, black and aqua and with wooden handles - but I have NEVER seen a vintage wooden handle painted green before‼️ I sure hope I can find one to go with my other vintage wooden green-handled kitchen utensils❣️😉💚🤞*
that green wood handled piece is to open jars. turn open to size to fit lid -turn handle to close on it and it opens jar! i have one and it works great.
If you have an old purse or leather jacket you can cut ears for the horses. Also, hobby lobby has bags of scrap leather that you would probably find uses for as well.
So glad you picked up that sugar mold. Love the leather bucket purse, even with the lil damage. Up here in eastern Iowa we have the GW bins but we only have the large roll out bins, none of the gray ones that go on shelves, and we are required to wear gloves to wear to dig into them.
Laughing at your reaction to the doll. I’m going to remember putting it out in the universe what I need. You could always cut up a purse for the horses’ ears!
You can sculpt the ears from your air-dry clay! I know you can do it. The ears will be small so it shouldn't be noticeable. I have faith in you. Smile, you can do it.
For decorate ceramic or any other type of stuff with chips I use dry wall putty to repair (sand) and then paint! You usually cant even tell! If you just added little dabs on the horses you could just paint over it to match the leather:)
I sold a cute little deer that had big antlers, did not notice it had no ears till the lady who bought it told me she had added the ears! So, yes you can add them!
Certainly do!! My first set of luggage; Samsonite, blue fake leather, from S&H. We would collect the stamps until Mom had a good pile, and then the fun would begin; lickin' and stickin' for HOURS!! The retired gas station up the street still had its sign up until a big wind took it down about a year ago. So sad to see it go. Yes, the 3rd horse would have been good to part out some leather for ears.
I’m excited to see what you do with the stool. I was yard selling with Teresa Green last year when I found a round one that similar. It’s covered with yellow vinyl.
I'm always amazed at the vintage Coach that is always just laying there in picked over Bins. I found a vintage black backpack a couple weeks back. Those little metal molds are adorable. Great finds!
Horse leather ears, you can just get an old leather purse and cut out oval shapes that are pointed on one end, fold lengthwise and glue into those holes on the horse head. Coach purse Ya!!
The green wood and metal thing is a jar opener. Did you get the heavy wood piece with holes and do you plan on selling it. If so I would love to possibly buy it. Thanks , great shopping.
Should get the third one for material to fix the others ears!🤔
Good idea!
Perfect!
Very smart!
Yoi could shape the ears with polymer clay , then cover with leather.
That's what I would have done
The the 3rd horse to use to repair the other 2.
Hi Julie,
You should have purchased the third damaged leather horse and attempted to make ears for the other two horses.
Great idea. I never would have thought of that.
That doll would’ve been awesome for Halloween decor.
Build clay ears on a dowel and glue, paint on the horses, or leather cut outside for ears. Just a thought.
Back in the 1970s, I bought that World’s Best Mother statue for my mother. She is now 82 and still uses it as a door stop in her bedroom!😂😊❤

Exactly was I was going to say! Great find and an easy fix.
Yes that's what I did to my horse with missing ears very very easy and then I used a permanent dark brown shoe polish to match the color of the horse.
The leather from the purse looks like the right colour for making ears for the horse.
The strap from the coach purse needs replaced (you said)... maybe ears from that? What a fun haul!
The green chippy handle kitchen tool is indeed a jar opener. I have a red handled one and it works great.
Yes! I have had mine for years and I won't give it up. Also, the round kitchen gadget is a burger press.
*@patricia5686 YES‼️ I came to tell Julie the same thing; used to make hamburger patties from ground beef.*
Oh my word. I need a jar opener now!
Julie, you should not have laughed at that doll. She won't like that! LOL. So many fun finds today! I love you're energy when it's a good bins day.
😮🎉😂
I'm surprised you didn't grab the flat wooden board!
Girl!!! 😂That doll & your crazy laugh had me laughing too hard. Those bags! That coach! All of it. You should be able to fix those ears no problem. What a shopping trip. ❤
The wooden napkin holders can be used as feet for wooden boxes.
*@adel531 - Julie can also glue them together and use them as a tall, skinny vase (like she did with the woven basket weave napkin rings in a previous video) and use it to hold faux flowers or an architecturally interesting branch or two tucked into it.😊*
The kitchen thing with the wood knob is a hamburger patty press. You use it to compress the ground beef into the perfect patty. My dad swore by them!
Girl, you shopped so fast and found some great items!
Wow you really scored today! Tori Birch and Marc Jacobs in one day, with Coach added in.. awesome! You found some really good rusty crusty pieces too! It was definitely A good day😊
The green handle thing is a jar opener, they sell for big bucks at antique stores.
Loved every single one
That doll you picked up was hilarious, she looked SOOO spooky. "Our shabby cottage" just mentioned you on your wonderful design idea's, Love both your channels. Great stuff today. I'm guessing you spent around $30,
Yes, get the glass jars!
So sweet that your husband shops with you!
You found a lot of great stuff! I loved your presentation of that creepy doll😱
I think those kitchen tools are jar openers.
The one kitchen tool is to form hamburger patties. It has 2 thickness options.
Go back and get that other horse, you can use it to cut pieces of leather to make ears for the two you picked up!
My thoughts too
That green handle kitchen gadget is a jar opener. I use one and it really helps with arthritic hands

Girl, your skills make this look so easy. Your hard work is inspiring.
Your reaction to the doll😂😂
❤love the bags
It's a jar opener. Used to have one.
Looked like possibly vintage Coach, too, and all that kitchen stuff is great.
You found a lot of great things. 😁
What a haul!!
I would love to buy that lamb cake pan
That trivet would look so good with drop cloth and a transfer hung off a peg!
Defo clean up the bag with white erasure and hand sanitizer I’ve found that’s good at getting marks off 😊
Those wooden coasters could work for toppers for candlesticks.
Could you make the ears from airdry clay and then paint them with patina paint and make them look like bronze statues
Another great day at the bins! It's great that you're giving new purpose to these things! Love those old jello molds, I have my mother's ❤
The little green handle piece you thought might be a can opener is a jar opener. They work very well.
If you have an old purse or leather jacket you can cut ears for the horses. Also, hobby lobby has bags of scrap leather that you would probably find uses for as well.

Do you mind saying where in eastern Iowa? I’m not too far from there.
I think she means cedar rapids near airport. ....
Laughing at your reaction to the doll. I’m going to remember putting it out in the universe what I need. You could always cut up a purse for the horses’ ears!
Well, we did it. First time shopping the bins last weekend. It’s pretty far away but we will definitely be back!
I think the green tinted canisters would’ve cleaned up nicely. A lot of people like using the clear ones for storage.😊
You can sculpt the ears from your air-dry clay! I know you can do it. The ears will be small so it shouldn't be noticeable. I have faith in you. Smile, you can do it.
I want those horses, fixed or not! They're awesome! And girl, THAT DOLL, WAS creepy!😅 it scared me!😂😂
I call dolls like that "Children of the Corn" dolls-- from the same name of the movie! I do collect dolls but not those.😂 Creepy eyes!
Julie - maybe you should have taken the 3rd, damaged horse also - you could have used leather from it to make the ears from the other 2.....
you could have used the coasters as risers on top of candle sticks
Those horses with missing ears reminds me of all those headless Barbies
You had me laughing so hard at that scary doll face! 😯
For decorate ceramic or any other type of stuff with chips I use dry wall putty to repair (sand) and then paint! You usually cant even tell! If you just added little dabs on the horses you could just paint over it to match the leather:)
Green one is an jar opener and the round one is a biscuit cutter
Love your ideas Julie!! ( I’m in NC) Is that round wooden handled kitchen item a hamburger press? 💕
I too have a red handled jar opener. I got it at a yard sale. Works great. Buy the third horse for repairs.
I couldn’t even guess your total because I’ve never been to a bins and don’t know how they charge. You were on a roll today 🎉
You made out well today at the bins!
I sold a cute little deer that had big antlers, did not notice it had no ears till the lady who bought it told me she had added the ears! So, yes you can add them!
Great finds. 😊
I was looking at those horse ears......easy fix....you can do it easily.
OMG I Loved that doll!!
my tory burch tote looks exactly the same… looks real to me
Love hitting the bins with you.
Cat ice tray works with air dry clay or resins
Have one of these footstools that my grandmother purchased with S&H Greenstamps about 1960! Anyone know what those were?
Certainly do!! My first set of luggage; Samsonite, blue fake leather, from S&H. We would collect the stamps until Mom had a good pile, and then the fun would begin; lickin' and stickin' for HOURS!! The retired gas station up the street still had its sign up until a big wind took it down about a year ago. So sad to see it go. Yes, the 3rd horse would have been good to part out some leather for ears.
Yes, a can opener.
So funny when u looked at that creepy doll lol
That is a can opener…have one that was my grandmothers!
Great haul. Lots of interesting items. I love the tote and the cookie cutters or molds. And i guess $30.00 ❤❤❤❤
It’s a jar opener, I have my mom’s and it still works great.
I’m excited to see what you do with the stool. I was yard selling with Teresa Green last year when I found a round one that similar. It’s covered with yellow vinyl.
I enjoy all your trips
Nice finds
Good finds today.
I'm always amazed at the vintage Coach that is always just laying there in picked over Bins. I found a vintage black backpack a couple weeks back. Those little metal molds are adorable. Great finds!
The doll 😲🤣
Great haul! 👏🏻 ❤
Gorgeous
Wow you found a lot of good stuff!! What a creepy doll!!! That pizza stone ware is from Pampered Chef, pretty expensive.
Horse leather ears, you can just get an old leather purse and cut out oval shapes that are pointed on one end, fold lengthwise and glue into those holes on the horse head. Coach purse Ya!!
That was an amazing haul!!! Good job!!!
I need that Pampered Chef Pizza Pan!!! I have been on the hunt for one with no luck! 😔😔😔
So fun! Such a great haul, Julie! Bravo ❤ What was the total? 🥰
The round item with the round woos knobs is a biscuit maker.
Good day at the bins. I’ve been looking for a small footstool. I’m going to some thrift stores today to look for one
What s fun thrift!❤
Great scores!
Nice
The Doll 😂😂😳
Creepy eyes!! Eww
It’s no wonder stuff gets broken the way people throw the objects around !!
Goodwill Bins need a hotline - so you could call them and ask them to hold that 3rd horse for you.
you need that leather purse to use for new ears for the horses
The green wood and metal thing is a jar opener. Did you get the heavy wood piece with holes and do you plan on selling it. If so I would love to possibly buy it. Thanks , great shopping.
I wish my husband loved to thrift with me! I mean…I’m not married nor do I plan to be married but I’m just sayin’ that’s all. Lol
Great haul! I need to add my bins to my sourcing rotation. I say you spent less than $25
You should have bought the third horse to use for scrap for the ears for the other two!
I think the gadget with the wooden knob handle is a hamburger patty maker.
