    The video talks about the Point of Total Assumption.
    The point of total assumption (PTA) is the point above which the seller bears all the losses of an additional cost overrun on a fixed price 'incentive fee' (FPIF or FPI) contract.
    PTA = ((Ceiling Price - Target Price)/buyer's Share Ratio) + Target Cost

    Thanks for the video Saket!
    Also, the other way to look at it.. 60% of X = 20,000(200k-180k), X = 33,333. Up till this amount buyer will also share the cost overrun. From 33,334th dollar onwards, all cost overrun will be absorbed by seller.

    Saket ji.... 🙏 ...one question.. Many people who have not done very well(did not get very high scores) in pmp practice exams/mock tests during preparation, but, have even passed the actual pmp exam in above target in all areas.. .. Are scores so sacrosanct??.. Your thoughts sir.... Thanks and regards

    • @izenbridge
      @izenbridge  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Our view is , one has to target to get PMP certification not getting Above Target in call since you do not have to do real Project Management by book. The mock tests are made by writers and each writer has his/her own view for PMP.

    • @izenbridge
      @izenbridge  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I suggest to watch following videos to explore answer to your question - th-cam.com/video/eOmFd3OFTTg/w-d-xo.html
      The basic idea is - scores are not the guarantee to get success in the PMP. The goal of practicing question is -
      - Practice questions to understand your weak areas for the PMP exam, fill those gaps, recollect concepts using study material and also take help from your trainer to clarify your doubts.
      So whenever simulator gets over, contemplate weak areas and get into details of related topics of those weak areas. Also, get the training to select the best answer during practice of questions.
