I just fed a Thylacine for a year! 🤣🤣 Jane Tee just arrived, great quality. Bon appetite carnivorous marsupial. 🤣
@@gez7795 you sir are a dead set legend. Thank you and enjoy!
Is this a stir because you heard them calling that one night? Haha who knows what to believe now :P
Couldn't help but shed a tear for Stannard after that tribute. Forever young as he lay in his own tranquil piece of paradise, a lasting memory (thanks to the dedication of you boys) of the hardships our Australian forefathers endured, back when the boats were made of wood and the men were made of steel. Couldn't have said it any better Hugh.
Love it, thanks!
Absolutely incredible work with a beautiful tribute. You’re an asset to Tasmania and the preservation of its history mate. Just amazing! Thank you.
Thanks so much Emmalina! I really appreciate your feedback and thanks for your comments last night during the premiere!
That was epic! Well done Rob, Levi and Hugh. Lovely thing to do for John Stannard
Thanks for another insane life adventure Rob Parsons ✌🏼
Thank you homie, couldn't of done it without you and Hugh.
Just Brillant. The passion, the video and the adventure is driven by three mates having a go and exploring Tassie’s wilderness history.
Thank you mate!
Couldn't wait till I got home. Pulled over near the Mersey and watched the lot. Unbelievable production from start to finish. Love the grave site.
this is my favourite comment! Thank Brian!
Always wait for your content. Wouldn't surprise me if you start making main stream documentaries. I didn't see you last post til 5am so I quickly whacked I like and planned to watch when I got home but after a sneak peek at lunch time I couldn't wait to see it. On the way home I pulled over to the park on the banks of the Mersey and finished it. Bloody awesome cinematography. Loved to drone wire shots.
A couple of times I thought you could use your drone to do some scouting.. But that would be cheating... And/or very difficult with the thick bush... Wouldn't want to lose the drone.
Looking forward to your next adventure
We bumped into each other at Bunnings
This has gone to the next level. That camera wire shot trough the bush are simply brilliant. I was looking for the fourth camera person. Well done you blokes. A high quality production with a great story.
Thanks so much Legend... creating these videos for you guys is just so enjoyable, and I'm stoked to be able to show off Tassie's beauty. Your support means heaps, thanks again!
Hi Rob!
Sweden is up early for your new amazing adventure 👍😄
Big hugs Isa & Micke
Thanks Mike!
Cut my trip short on Lake Pedder yesterday and hooned back just to see this premiere! Got tail gated too... everyone on the road wanted to see this air no doubt! Absolutely loved it mate. Reading the original poem was very special. Oh man.. and that wire camera ... better than any drone.. you three looked absolutely bad ass with that long shot pulling out of camp and over the wet clothes!!!
haha Thank you Kenji. Luckily no one was hurt in the traffic jam the premiere surely caused! I think you're right about the Wirecam I way prefer the shots you can get with this than drone. I'm glad you enjoyed the video mate. Thanks!
Rob, what a fitting tribute to John Stannard; it was wonderful to see you three read aloud that poem. He certianly is no longer 'forgotten, way out there,' you boys found him, and breathed new life back in to his story and the experiences of all those who have ventured into the Wilds of the South West. What an adventure. Keep seeking the magic of it all. It's inspiring! P.S - Abel's Hut (what was left) was great to see! That old boot you pulled out - a treasure trove to explore, for another time, eh? :)
Thank you Emma!
Fantastic outcome....so sad tho he died at only 19, you guys are fantastic, seeing you all get so excited, and you deserve it. True explorers in these modern times. And a lovely tribute to Stannard RIP.
Absolutely brilliant again, and great to see your efforts to find and get the GPS location of the grave paid off without that the grave would possibly never have been restored. Great work all three of you.
Glad you enjoyed it, many thanks Wayne :-)
Absolutely great. It's really good to see the respect you and your pals have for the wild. Quite a moment at the graveside. I'm late finding these videos of yours (and Levi's) but I'll work my way through them all. Thx!
Needle in a haystack stuff again Rob, Levi and Hugh. An epic struggle to locate the hut site and very moving tribute to Stannard. Not many of us will see the memorial in place but it’s important that blokes like you care enough to put it there, brilliant work.
Thanks Glenn appreciate the support mate!
Fantastic rob and Levi
Thanks a lot Jeff!!
Great work to sleuth that. I loved seeing every log jam again
Thanks Matt, hopefully it didn't give you PTSD... haha what a mission pack rafting in that top end.

Brilliant film as always Rob. Very moving tribute to Stannard.
Moved me to tears.
That was absolutely unreal mate! You guys really took me along on that adventure. Can’t believe you actually managed to locate the site and find those bits n pieces lost in history. I feel overwhelmingly inspired to hunt down some places like this on the mainland. Cheers mate 🙏

Such an awesome adventure and journey through history. My ancestors were also timber fellers up in Qld so I grew up with stories of their hardships and deprivations. Keep doing what you do by bringing the stories to life

Certainly stirred the emotions on this one......very humbling mate.

Thanks Geoff!
This is about the best video that I have seen on TH-cam! The Tribute and dedication to find the camp and to preserver history on video! The way you film is absolutely awesome!
The wired camera shots are fantastic and show the beauty of the country! I have done a lot of hiking and hunting and I wish that I had recorded more than just snapshots! 20 plus years ago, the technology wasn't here!
I will continue my watching my adventures with you and your mates!
Well done guys, well done. What an adventure! 👍
So glad you enjoyed it Terry!
I don't know how Rob does it but they just keep getting better. Some of those camera shots are insanely good.

These videos are unreal!
Great job boys!
I gave it a like before I had even watched it, I knew it would be a great trip.
I have to say, I love the fact that you and the Morrison family restored young Stannards grave. It is a tribute to a life lost too early, like many others of that era Im sure.
Good to see Hugh made the trip this time after his previous injury.
Thanks so much Mack, I'm absolutely honoured to have been involved with the restoration... full credit to Ron, Deek and Sam for their installation efforts. Thanks for the support, so happy to see Hugh with a victory up his sleeve :)

Thanks mate, I believe it'll be a good watch. Yes funny that F.C registration. A joint effort somewhat.. Levi on the pen and, well I actually had nothing to do with it!

Such a rewarding one! Thanks for watching!
Rob, had to watch it twice before I commented. How bloody awesome are you guys. I am in awe of the three of you, going unaided to the Jane to find more history and to video it so that we can get to enjoy it. Didn’t know the old timers burnt country to get access. Thanks to You, Levi and Hugh. The grave repair is something else, great video and editing. Thank Rob, a true Tasmanian , I hope you don’t run out of trips for awhile yet, I always look forward to your next one. Congratulations on finding the hut, cheers Rob
Hi Dennis. Thank you for your kind words mate, I’m happy you enjoyed the video and repair job. It was a real honour to be able to give back to a story that I had become so engulfed in. Btw the list only gets longer the more I go out and realise that nothing is impossible. Thanks for your support mate!
