yo bro im so proud of you honestly love you cuz happy you made something with your own money and your own hands your dad should be extremely proud keep it up cant wait till u create some fire in that booth
Thanks, but that Megaman was something I drew and painted on the wall, I think it was my 3rd time doing it, because I had to cover it up with paint. I love the Megaman 8 cover art pose.
Looking good man! Looks like a lot of work... you got it righteously done though.. getting ready to turn the garage into a creation station this week. Right on time 👌 👌 👌
Glad that I can inspire ya =] Although, I don't recommend going the same way that I've been at it. Definitely having a job will make what I did here in like 5 Years shrink down into like.. 2 Not building the booth in 5 years (lol) but I'm talking about all of the gear investments in general. You got this!! 😁
Thanks ^_^ Nah. I haven't seen his videos. The only TH-camrs who'se videos I've seen, was a man who'se channel name is True Sound Studios, And someone else, I think his name was Jon Sine. I seen a few of his as well.
Hey man This video was super helpful :D I May Build one in a year or so haha Will you add more lights or LED strips to it cuz some light would be nice you can record in it cuz it looks sick haha
Glad it helps ^_^ I do want to put in lights, thinking about LED. But my major concern, is if the LED lights will create a buzz noise sound. That's my only worry this whole time. Oh, that, as well as where should I place it xP Maybe a nice corner floor lamp type of light would be cool if anything ( for now )
@@OmoiSenpai yeah I Know what you mean , for the place i would say on the corners would look sick , but as you said it may interfere with your recording , don't they sell LED for producers that doesn't have this issue ?
@@OmoiSenpai i learned a lot from you when I was young .. one day i remember you did a tutorial about how to turn down your metronome volume while you recording ..i remember it same like today
Bro how to make vocals fat bro,not double tracking but the vocals sud be fat,and how to make a suitable beat for an Acapella ??I am stuck broo, plzz help me
I used a very old version of AutoCAD from back in my Highschool days. Has to be like 10+ Years ago now. If anything, just a paper, pencil, and ruler will do too!
If there were no fan vents, the booth would be incredibly isolated form the outside world. BUT I am able to record in there during the night time and not disturb my fams! My Videos that I am posting nowadays are me inside of this booth creating music. Perhaps the sound quality there can help you understand how it feels better.
@OmoiSenpai oh yeah, totally understandable. I was just wondering if you could stand inside the booth and have a recorder outside of it with a decibal meter and put a camera on it. To show the difference from the outside. Thanks for the reply.
WOW!.. Man, I wish that I have a carpenter skill like you good sir, bruh...But I'm just not so skillful as you good sir because not even one carpenter tool that I've held or used it to make something out of this DIY sound booth... Your carpenter skill is very convenient for me to save my money but unfortunately my neighbours all around me "hate" noise if I'd made that thing... Even if i did, I'd still don't know where to start... Not even a room design map sketch that I could learn it... I've made my choice on planning to buy the sound booth from Studiobricks or any sound booth production companies... It's expensive but it'll worth pay on that sound booth...All i need is to earn bigger income and some few income branches like 2-3 incomes made and that sound booth is no longer to worried about it... Peace out, dude...😊✌🏻👍🏻
Thanks! This was my first time around building anything big like this. It was a tiny bit challenging, but if I were to do it again, I think I'll be able to get it done easily! But I do understand how it is. It's a balance between knowledge and Labor, or Money for the time and experience. All the best!
If you go to the extreme like I've done here with a subfloor, iso clips, and the rock wool insulation, it would deaden that sound nicely. But I'd understand how it be. I was born in NY, and lived in both a house and an apartment that had ppl above and under me :P Noisy Noisy for sure!
It's VERY Soundproof lol. It would have been perfectly Soundproof had I not cut those 2 Vent fans in there, BUT you're not going to hear anybody playing a TV Loudly in the Living room. If I could have made the booth bigger though I would have because being too close to the corners with the mic can cause a boxy sound. Thankfully it's not an issue for me.
Also to note: I do have 2 Magnet Plates that I put over the vents when I go in the booth, so it does the job! I did install an AC Vent opening at the top, but there is no noise the way that I snaked the air ducting.
@@OmoiSenpai Let Me explain My situation and then if You could tell Me if your booth would be the solution. I live in a small block of apartments and I can hear My nabors alot to the point where it would ruin My recordings. 1 next doors I can hear him talk, shout sing along to loud pop music, 2 the guy above him is a rapper, I can hear him rapping and loud Bass music. 3 guy above Me drops stuff on his floor bangs about shouts. 4 next door has deliberately tried to disrupt My music production by banging on My wall and shouting at Me to shut up, despite him singing like a drunken fool plasting pop music regularly. 5 I can sing very well but I dont want to sing in My apartment because if I can hear them, they can hear Me and all the noise mentioned above is not only off putting it ruins My recordings. I want to have a booth like yours, shut the door use My monitors and sing and do voice recordings without them hearing Me or Me hearing them.
Hey! The *Internal* size is around 4ft x 4ft 2in x 6ft 9 in high. Definitely not set for the golden ratio, but it works within the limitations of the room I am in, especially when treated with acoustic foam.
Time markers would be too quick the way that I presented this video unfortunately. I do have a playlist where I go in depth on the steps I did to make the booth. Should be at the end card of the video.

How much width of wood?
You're welcome!
The Wood is labeled as 2x4(in inches) but the dimension of the wood is actually 1.5 in by 3.5 in.

Yeee :D
Where did you get the acoustic foam from? Every site I’ve found has a minimum of 48 pieces for the color purple
The acoustic foam that I bought was from Auralex, specifically, the Roominator Kit. I hav a link in the description for it.
