Right above the second point, she destroyed a DVA mech, and then dva obviously jumped out the mech but she changed where shes looking and then gets clapped by dva. Thats literally her signature ability and she didnt know. So deserved bronze
I'm a bastion one trick, ive climbed out of bronze 5 into plat3 slowly climbing in ranks such as going 5-2 and only getting 30% increase in rank without ranking up such as bronze 3 80% into bronze 3 99.9% winning 5-0, so i know the grind of getting good and this game definitely rewards good players, and there is a lot this girl needs to work on. I watched this whole video. This is what I think about her bastion gameplay. If anyone else cares, MOBILITY - 4/10 POSTITIONING - 2.5/10 COOLDOWNS - 3/10 ULT - 5.5/10 TURRET FORM - 2/10 NADES 4.5/10 TARGET PRIORITY - 0.5/10 AIM - 7/10 OVER ALL GAMEPLAY - 3.5/10 Just seemed like a bronze player overall, you were mostly shooting the tank and the defense matrix on dva instead of swapping targets, barely shot at squishes, went turret form to 1v1 which is alright but no follow up and not canceling turret form, played infront of tank instead of playing side - side/ with tank, bastion nades seemed just random , should have saved the nades against the dva bomb and planned for better mobility, also just like genjis deflect you can cancel bastions turret form by pressing shift, also noticed never naded in turret form to apply pressure, overall bronze 5 gameplay, as long as she just postitions better and uses her cooldowns more smartly she will make it to gold eventually even with bad teammates :), if I can so can u❤
The first team were complaining alil too much and felt checked lol giving the bronze player a worse time. You would think they would try to give advice and better ways for feedback.
Yes omg I cringed hard at the guy telling her to swap off bastion to heroes she was less comfortable with. Classic gold mentality. I was so happy when the teammate in the 2nd match tried giving her tips though. It was like night and day
Lots of face tanking going on. They were being way too aggressive. They just in front of the reaper on Ashe instead of dropping down and at least trying to kite. This definitely seems like bronze to me. That said, I commend their bravery for coming on the stream. That’s not easy.
I think if the participants didn’t know who is the lower rank player this series would be better. They said “bastion switch” even when she was doing fine, I think her being bronze was part of why he said that.
Not using the ult in like 2 or 3 PERFECT situations made me really mad. They kept the ult as if they were expecting it to do a 5k on its own in the perfect situation. Also spreading it out WAY too slow. Like waiting almost a second between each mortar. Gave them plenty of time to just dip. Definitely bronze. Not silver, bronze.
Ideally, I would say at least, you wanna spread out those mortars especially on characters that have abilities to maneuver away easily. I would say do the first mortar to get rid of whatever ability they have to move away then spam the last two
24:05 this is a huge problem in the lower ranks. People kill DVA mech and then act like she doesnt exist anymore after that. Same thing for mercy revives, she swoops in front of everybody and nobody shoots.
They did get a kill right after that though, but yeah, worrying about a torn turret that couldn’t hit anyone but their overextended self wasn’t the best of plays.
Goatz definitely has what it takes to get out of Bronze with her aim. Her aim isn’t bad. But like Jay3 mentioned about seeing the wheels turn in her head, I could tell she was trying to force situations for herself. Sure she was nervous playing in a tournament-like situation and with chat watching, but don’t try and be cool. Aim is more high silver, low gold, but decision making and definitely bronze tier. She definitely hindered her team, especially in the first game, so she needs to play to her team’s strengths. Even if she mains 2 characters. The flow the fight changes and she needs to adapt to it. Even with those 2 mains. Any character can work (technically) but you need to be willing to work with your team in order to be valuable for them.
I don't think this was the core issue, but it looked like she had a really high sensitivity with a very high friction mouse/mousepad. Aim was very stuttery and discrete rather than being fluid and continuous.
Day, please just do it already: Random vid idea. One bronze tank, silver Dps, plat dps, one masters support and one top 500 support vs one top 500 tank, one masters dps, one silver support, and one bronze support. Which side of the carry is more important? We would not only get a definitive answer for the most part of what’s more broken, supports or Tanks, and it’d be fun to see. I know people feel the top 500 tank team should roll, but their supports will either be heal bots or dps moiras. If the top 500 support can keep their tank up, and do some dpsing with their dps, they should be able to either roll the squishys and get the tank, or focus the tank. Who knows what could happen because of the match ups and maps and comps, plus team synergy will be harder to coordinate

as a diamond dps I can see very clear flaws in this bronzes gameplay, if this is how gm players see me then its probably easy for them to know why i’m diamond
6:12 or around the time when he was talking about why goatz haven't said anything. But Jay don't realize that when you're the youngest on your team by a few years where there is definitely a gap you get really nervous and don't speak that much and if you're as young as goatz it's worse even if the teammates aren't bad people
I constantly play on middle east servers because i dont have servers in my country so im constantly on like 150 plus ping...but you'll always find me playing projectile characters...its like seeing the arrow hit and then seeing the hit marker a second later😭
Whilst she absolutely deserves Bronze right now, the kid is young and I bet in a year they will be in a much higher elo for sure. They definitely need to go on an aim trainer for a bit because I think a lot of low elo bastions revert to his turret because it’s easier to aim and then get stuck with less mobility and out of position if their team doesn’t win the fight. She also needs to just use her ult. Bastions ult isn’t really that great and if anything just taking people by surprise and using it to try zone out supports or abilities is sometimes just as beneficial as trying to get a 5k. I don’t think Pharah was the move on the first game and the team didn’t help by starting to tilt over a CUSTOM GAME. I liked the guy helping her on Junkertown though. She’ll get there! But for now I think she’s where she needs to be
I mained bastion to gold. You essentially have to play your life and just turret tank to get out of bronze-silver. There’s just no one contesting that until you get to gold. They can try to out heal it, but eventually they get out of position, it’s inevitable. Gold it happens a bit too- just less. Further research is required for more information. (I still main bastion I just don’t play comp a lot, 58% win rate still)
I dont think it was fair for the pharah judgement. They were told to switch and Im sure they werent comfortable playing pharah and were just playing because her team told her to
@@thegoat2708you were doing fine. The first team was being unnecessary with some of their comments towards you. It’s much easier to play well, especially in front of a ton of people, when your teammates are being positive. A lot of people here have been playing the game for a long time so stuff that seems obvious to them isn’t for someone newer to the game. If you want to climb, just keep playing and watch some vids on TH-cam
I mean, even if you don't play pharah, a higher ranked player would at least know the very, very basics like not holding down the spacebar and wasting all your fuel.
@@whatisthis9951 idk pharah is pretty technical and if you've literally never played a hero then you're gonna be struggling. if her main hero is the skill level of around gold, then someone she doesn't play is obviously gonna be a worse rank "skill" level. but for your point, I wouldn't consider gold to be higher level and determining if she deserves gold was the goal of the video, not if she deserves higher than that
another issue with this is the golds thinking they know what they are talking about and giving her bad call outs, she does need to work on alot though i think gold feels like a good rank for her on bastion but the other heros she needs to work on
Her tank and other dps were even worse holy. She topped there kills even when she’s bronze 😭 that’s crazy and they asked her to switch when they were doing worse. How is a bronze player better than a gold even when they play like that 😭
I think she could pass for silver 1 or gold 5 Her biggest problem is not responding to enemy threats of gold players. Basically she’s treating the enemies like they are bronze players who can’t aim and she doesn’t understand when to break LOS and stuff. This happens to me a lot when I climb to my peak then play on a smurf for a while. When I go back to my main It takes a few games to get used to people knowing how to punish certain things that I get away with in lower ranked games. IMO it only takes like 10-20 games to get used to it That and she learns to press q and not hold it and she’d hang on the line between silver and gold.
the thing is you do have a though process it’s js subconscious like theirs (unranked to gm creators i.e; necros.) they just make an effort to voiceover it into what they analyzed the gameplay as them thinking
I cannot get on board with people who claim ELO hell, bc when I first started, I placed bronze in OW1, and then I quit for like 4 years, came back to OW2, put in maybe 80-100 hours, and placed silver4, didn't play any games that season, and by the next season, placed Silver2, and then this season, silver1 DPS, then climbed into Gold (where I'll probably stay until next season, lol) --Side note, I placed Gold5 tank this season, but I'm not counting that since I climbed into Gold on DPS beforehand, and just played hyper-aggressive Ram in placements, which worked a little too well in the first 5 games, and didn't work at all in last 5
this season im elo hell stuck in diamond for literally all 3 roles. ive been playing since literally ow1 BETA. i can play almost all the characters efficiently. but diamond is usually always the hardest elo to conquer. its mad annoying haha. im diamond in all 3 roles and in open queue lol
Should get her to play reaper, Im silver but the more i play reaper and flank and play off angles i apply it more now to my other characters and tanking , Its just easier with reaper about picking off the supports and dps rather than tank focus, So it improves my ability when i play tank to try and pick the backline off with winston and stuff or zarya once her beams % is high , As i said im silver so im not great but i feel my ability is now better since i started when ow2 came out (didnt play ow1) and i feel myself gaining ranks i went from bronze 5 to silver 2 on support in last week, and from bronze 5 to silver 3 on tank and bronze 4 to silver 1 on dps all this month by just playing different heroes and learning new stuff i can apply via playing certain characters or watching awkwards educational videos it helps
"If you don't see your tank in front of you, you shouldn't be there." Yo, can you tell this to some of my teammates in Pokemon Unite? I'm usually the tank, and so very often shaking my head as my attackers just dash off ahead of me and die.
Idk how people are stuck in bronze, i never played comp before and decided id try it went 5-0 using only bastion with 25+ kills each match and got put in silver 2
She lost out on 3-4 Ults then wasted the one she had by not even trying to hit someone with it. Good survivability but ultimately.. bronze silver fr plus won't target backline. All tank for some reason even in matrix. This is bronze
I’m not a DPS main but, he shoots in areas where there’s no enemies and wastes his ironclad by shooting into DVA projectile shield. His aim is OK but not the best or even Gold worthy. He does have good decision making but that doesn’t fix his lack of actual skill.
This is a bronze player held ult would of had two more, gets constant pocket and still doesn’t effect the match. The team must have felt like they were in a 3v5.
Bro I always get people like her on my team and I always lose, I don’t understand how people can be so bad when they have played so much and watch TH-cam, I’m on ps, and people are literarily as good as her but it’s not enough. I believe I’m stuck in elo hell because I always have the most dmg most kills play of the game, and least deaths, sometimes even when I’m on support. It’s so fucking frustrating how bad people are and I just wanna play a good game where I lose because the other team is acc better than me not bc my team is ass! I’m about to quit the fucking game!
The Pharah was hard to watch, the aim was bad and it was just spam skills and hope for the best and the long range ult into the DVA matrix capped that off.
They had ZERO idea as to how to use their ultimates on any hero. They need to understand the macro of how the game ebbs and flows. Awkward teaches this. “They go in, I go out. They move back, I move in”.
she said ow isn’t toxic?!! fam i grew up in the og xbox 360 chats where this shit originated, and ow is by farrrrr the most toxic game i’ve ever played it’s shocking honestly
I mean you can’t really evaluate their performance when they have a Mercy pocket at the expense of the team. Would’ve been better to see how they handled everything with any other support.
Dude if I had teammates who talked as much as that in my gold lobbies I would be plat in no time, I win prob 80% of games where 2 other people talk (not including me) cus I be giving all of the comms and it gets a tad bit annoying
I think she did... Okay. But, she can learn from her mistakes. Me for Example. I playwith an Ana who is masters and I'm high diamond. I've popped off hard with her in masters 5-4 lobbies, sure. But... I know I'm not ready for masters. It was the same when i was high playing, there was a time that diamond 4 felt like a challenge to me and plat 1 was too easy, so i preferred diamond 5. I say she stays in silver for some time. And when she's truly ready to rank up, she'll be rolling every silver game
Idk. I need someone to play w me and figure out what I'm doing wrong. I feel I'm playing well but then I'm gold stuck. Idk what it is. My team? My positioning? I don't know. I feel my positioning is great but it's never easy for me to rank up and I'm never the carry
Ow2 ranking is so odd. I don't really fw dps or support but got Plat for both only playing 5 games in both but am a tank main and play a ton of tank and trying so hard to get diamond but cannot get past gold 1 atm.

I don’t know if you seen a gold lobby, but even with that performance she would manage in high silver / low gold lobbies imo.
@@angelstyle9677 I support in gold/plat. Most of my DPSes play way better than this.
@@perezdevmuch much better, she is bronze or lower
h4i what you expecting they playing bastion he deservd bronz and not higher
Encouragement and constructive criticism is how they will get there.
Hi I was the mercy named Valkyrie thank u so much for the opportunity
She deserves bronze.
Then the tank and the other dps also deserve bronze. They were even worse than her
@@mrlunar62exactly they were much worse than her bastion play
I'm a bastion one trick, ive climbed out of bronze 5 into plat3 slowly climbing in ranks such as going 5-2 and only getting 30% increase in rank without ranking up such as bronze 3 80% into bronze 3 99.9% winning 5-0, so i know the grind of getting good and this game definitely rewards good players, and there is a lot this girl needs to work on. I watched this whole video. This is what I think about her bastion gameplay. If anyone else cares,
MOBILITY - 4/10
POSTITIONING - 2.5/10
COOLDOWNS - 3/10
ULT - 5.5/10
TURRET FORM - 2/10
NADES 4.5/10
TARGET PRIORITY - 0.5/10
AIM - 7/10
OVER ALL GAMEPLAY - 3.5/10
Just seemed like a bronze player overall, you were mostly shooting the tank and the defense matrix on dva instead of swapping targets, barely shot at squishes, went turret form to 1v1 which is alright but no follow up and not canceling turret form, played infront of tank instead of playing side - side/ with tank, bastion nades seemed just random , should have saved the nades against the dva bomb and planned for better mobility, also just like genjis deflect you can cancel bastions turret form by pressing shift, also noticed never naded in turret form to apply pressure, overall bronze 5 gameplay, as long as she just postitions better and uses her cooldowns more smartly she will make it to gold eventually even with bad teammates :), if I can so can u❤
She was absolutely lost on attack 🤣
The first team were complaining alil too much and felt checked lol giving the bronze player a worse time. You would think they would try to give advice and better ways for feedback.
The second team try to help and give them advice to get better and ways to improve
As someone who experienced both gold and bronze very well. I say there’s not much difference between the two ranks they all suck lol
All good lessons here for her. Hope she takes them and improves her skills, she has potential!
6:30 he says that she doesn't talk. But she is, but she is so shy or quiet, it's really hard to hear it.
I would say do the first mortar to get rid of whatever ability they have to move away then spam the last two
@@cordingkarma1139 exactly.
watching this vids everytime gives me the motivation to go play overwatch but then i lag so bad i rage quit.
24:05 this is a huge problem in the lower ranks. People kill DVA mech and then act like she doesnt exist anymore after that. Same thing for mercy revives, she swoops in front of everybody and nobody shoots.
19:20-19:38 this sequence right here shows you all you need to see to know she's bronze and doesn't deserve any higher
Cant even kill torb turret
lol when jay loked back at the screen he was flabbghasted
They did get a kill right after that though, but yeah, worrying about a torn turret that couldn’t hit anyone but their overextended self wasn’t the best of plays.
@@alexjones6491 That's always my favorite part of his videos
The bastion did its job. No help from his team. Mofos said they needed a bastion switch while their sym was doing FU#k all.
Idk why but I laughed way too hard when Jay threw that duck lmao
Who knows what could happen because of the match ups and maps and comps, plus team synergy will be harder to coordinate
it's tank
Tank is more important than support when it’s that big of a diff

i hit silver 1 a little while ago, and it is hell to climb that ladder.
Jay saying he nice is sus 😂 like he screaming to your face IM A NICE PERSON lmao
as a diamond dps I can see very clear flaws in this bronzes gameplay, if this is how gm players see me then its probably easy for them to know why i’m diamond
tbh jay if I saw you IRL I'd probably just remind you that it's called "support," not "healer," then walk off
6:12 or around the time when he was talking about why goatz haven't said anything.
“My first FPS game was Fortnite.” Does she know what FPS stands for?
my god that tourett frustrated me on the second game how is he scared of a torb tourett with a mercy pocket?
(I still main bastion I just don’t play comp a lot, 58% win rate still)
I am the mynamecool junkrat player! Was so nice being on jay3 stream! To more to come!
I definitely think being a young girl in a lobby of random older guys puts some extra pressure on
Jay was about to say silver 5 but then wanted to be nice and said high silver😂
I dont think it was fair for the pharah judgement. They were told to switch and Im sure they werent comfortable playing pharah and were just playing because her team told her to
She said she could
@@TrueOracleI said I could, never said I was good
@@thegoat2708you were doing fine.
@@whatisthis9951 idk pharah is pretty technical and if you've literally never played a hero then you're gonna be struggling. if her main hero is the skill level of around gold, then someone she doesn't play is obviously gonna be a worse rank "skill" level. but for your point, I wouldn't consider gold to be higher level and determining if she deserves gold was the goal of the video, not if she deserves higher than that
another issue with this is the golds thinking they know what they are talking about and giving her bad call outs, she does need to work on alot though i think gold feels like a good rank for her on bastion but the other heros she needs to work on
The most painful video I watched this year holy shit why does she even think she deserves gold at all 😭😭😭😭
Not too too far off. The tank and the other dps were non existential in the first game.
Her tank and other dps were even worse holy. She topped there kills even when she’s bronze 😭 that’s crazy and they asked her to switch when they were doing worse. How is a bronze player better than a gold even when they play like that 😭
Honestly she’d do fine in silver, not exactly gold level yet, but with time and improvement she could def get to gold.
I think she could pass for silver 1 or gold 5
Her biggest problem is not responding to enemy threats of gold players.
IMO it only takes like 10-20 games to get used to it
That and she learns to press q and not hold it and she’d hang on the line between silver and gold.
How you play a game for one year and still being bronze?????????
The gold players at war 😭😭😭
the thing is you do have a though process it’s js subconscious like theirs (unranked to gm creators i.e; necros.) they just make an effort to voiceover it into what they analyzed the gameplay as them thinking
This proves jay3 has never met a woman that wasn't attached to his desk
the moment she said i played fps 3 to 4 years ago and jay asked her whats her first fps and she said fortnite i knew we were in for a treat XD
4.20 the glazing goes crazy
"If you don't see your tank in front of you, you shouldn't be there."
Yo, can you tell this to some of my teammates in Pokemon Unite? I'm usually the tank, and so very often shaking my head as my attackers just dash off ahead of me and die.
Everyone saying comms. Bro you don't need comms until you get to GM. Just awareness and a good headset for sound cues.
came here from the short 👍🏼 also that poor kid has such a high pitch voice for 15😂
Calling fortnite an FPS is a based take
Idk how people are stuck in bronze, i never played comp before and decided id try it went 5-0 using only bastion with 25+ kills each match and got put in silver 2
HAHHAHA 2:40 I’m sorry but that made my entire month 🥰💀
i wish there was a rank below bronze, becuase that is where i belong. ^^ i am a Torb main and most of my kills are turret kills.
Im a bastion main, and i HATE it when an enemy dps copies you and plays bastion aswell. it just sucks.
unless your a better bastion (which I'm not lmao)
@@thegoat2708 lol
sorrry to say but bastion mains are suck because you dosent need skill for him you probebly allways gona get the most damege an the most kills
You're my stream hero, Jay. 😍
NGL I was so hardstuck in elo hell I stopped playing. Haven't played in a month or so.
never though there were a day where the sentence "bastion is a good decision" was a reality
Gameplay reminds me of silver/bronze. Not gold or higher
This is a bronze player held ult would of had two more, gets constant pocket and still doesn’t effect the match. The team must have felt like they were in a 3v5.
Tank was lowkey bad even for gold. No way they ask the Cass to duel the junkrat in an enclosed room on 3rd point defense
Wht i didnt like was they had the alt in the first like couple minutes and had several moments it would have helped but instead never used it
Bro I always get people like her on my team and I always lose, I don’t understand how people can be so bad when they have played so much and watch TH-cam, I’m on ps, and people are literarily as good as her but it’s not enough.
Jay help pls!
Skills - silver, aim - bronze, game sense - silver, positioning - bronze
Meanwhile my first fps's be like doom, medal of honor, combat arms, dirty bomb, tf2, etc.
3:14 bro made the most known joke of the history
The Pharah was hard to watch, the aim was bad and it was just spam skills and hope for the best and the long range ult into the DVA matrix capped that off.
her aim reminds of someone that went from controller to just starting on mnk
Bro the tank is screaming to kill dva every fight when she has double pocket
She is def in bronze, based off of everything, just needs a lot more experience
They had ZERO idea as to how to use their ultimates on any hero. They need to understand the macro of how the game ebbs and flows. Awkward teaches this. “They go in, I go out. They move back, I move in”.
she said ow isn’t toxic?!! fam i grew up in the og xbox 360 chats where this shit originated, and ow is by farrrrr the most toxic game i’ve ever played it’s shocking honestly
Man I can never be in Elo hell. Im in Bronze 4 and I still that’s too high for me 💀
I mean you can’t really evaluate their performance when they have a Mercy pocket at the expense of the team. Would’ve been better to see how they handled everything with any other support.
Dude if I had teammates who talked as much as that in my gold lobbies I would be plat in no time, I win prob 80% of games where 2 other people talk (not including me) cus I be giving all of the comms and it gets a tad bit annoying
I don't understand the raking system. I understand it's a team game but why am I punished if my team does bad but I do fairly well.
A day closer to duck officially coming back.
This person maybe deserves bronze 4 but no where near gold. From the bad aim to the horrid ult usage I’d say bronze is just the place to be.
Ow2 ranking is so odd. I don't really fw dps or support but got Plat for both only playing 5 games in both but am a tank main and play a ton of tank and trying so hard to get diamond but cannot get past gold 1 atm.
doesnt help her case that in game2 the dps were definitely only going for her any chance they got
Bruh pharah with mercy pocket vs no hitscan and it goes like that howww
