As a diamond player, the only difference between plat and dia is that diamond players have developed 1 more brain cell for the sole purpose of figuring out who to flame instead of just flaming people with bad stats

I think he did well, work on his aim and he’d do way better but I think there was a little bit of team diff. First game his dps was under performing and then the second game the support had weird picks and it use seemed he was always low

He plays like any normal tank in diamond. I was just like him. He can definitly get to masters if he works on his aim and maybe plays more dps.

Im unranked and think I deserve top 500.
The reason im not ranking up is because im not playing ranked.
I alway carry my team in qp with 5 kills, 20 deaths, and 0.5% accuracy on average.
I believe the reason im losing is because i actually dont even play the game but i just spewed some nonsense to try to get in a jay3 vid
Im sure youve already thought about this but maybe do reverse guess the smurfs, for elo hell. For example guess who the diamond is in the GM lobby would be pretty cool to watch.
And how would you guess that elohell boy? It's hard to do, looking from other players cam. So he'll have to split his attention evenly between 10 players. For 1 game its like 30-60 seconds per player to guess if he is outa this rank.
It's not enough cause gm may do mistakes within this 30-60 secs and continue with doing well all the other game.
You can't judge being based on that poor amount of time.

I feel like instead of backing up in moments of confusion he just pushes forward. I don’t think he is bad or was outplayed by the other tank. I think in moments where he started to get overwhelmed his mentality is more “team wipe” instead of back up and stay alive.

What I can say is that he was good at cycling his block to allow his supports to heal him while he tanked the frontline. Tbh they just couldn’t keep up.

I don’t get these people stuck in low elo. I started playing this game again early this summer and went from gold to masters by the end of the summer. I stopped playing when I moved into college but I just played for 2 months and climbed.

@@Sukarettoroz unfortunately just doing your part is not enough to climb, you need to put your dps in the backpack and carry yourself, luckily dps is the easiest role to compensate for
@@Sukarettoroz if you have 6k hours in OW and you're not GM, you just don't understand what's going wrong. If your dps can't kill, it's your fault for not putting them in that position. To climb, you have to either grossly outskill the opponent or understand that you can only fix yourself and everything you did could have been better.
@@tyler755 I was ass at the game at first and I was playing with my silver and bronze friends for most of those hours i stopped playing with them so I could get to gm its only been 2 or 3 seasons im masters and no its not my fault my dps have double digits deaths and less dmg than my support now please foh
Personally on ram i dont think he was utilizing shield properly cuz there were so many times where he put it up on kings row but left so much room for the enemy to shoot past it

He needed to use the walls more to kite bastion form rather than just trying to tank it. Every time he just wasted nemesis form in to turret and lost all 200 armour and could do nothing but back off

his aim might be like that because he's pushing his mouse down into his mousepad with more force than normal. I noticed it mainly happens in tense situations
The ping aim will be jittery above 150ms on a preview if you asked him to screen record from their prospective it probably wouldn't be that jittery.
We played a game on their server and it still was jittery while no one else's was. That game, their latency was like 30ms. We asked them later what their sens was and it was incredibly high.

The second game he held his ult for wayyyy to long imo, but if he fixes his aim a bit and has better ult management and use I think he’s pretty good honestly! Right now I’d say he could reach low master 😅.
I play on 260 ping all the time and my aim is consistent lol. I think maybe he was too nervous or has hand tremors that makes him shake when the game gets intense? bc his mouse is making a lot of micro movements up and down constantly
that 133 latency is tough, anything over 100 is unplayable but he still held in, just wish he poked more with rematra. It seemed like he was trying to force plays when he didnt need to and thats a big no no in gm, like the last 2 fights on the ice map round 1 they had point and the enemy team was holding back side choke and he kinda just ran into them when his team already had point, if he waited for the other teams ramatra to push first he would have been in a much better spot and they enemy tank had to push first if he stayed with his team on or near point bec they had the point capped
notice the other tank always is on a corner and waits for him to commit instead of forcing it

are you watching the same video as i am? this guy is terrible and should not be diamond. the cooldown useage, aim, awareness, its all bad. the fact this guy is higher ranked than me when im 100% better in every aspect is disturbing.

This guy's ram was actually ok. But this guy is Diamond hardstuck for a reason. That being primarily aim. It's bad. You can get away with poor aim on tank but this is another level of poor.
Other than that, Positioning was actually reasonable most of the time, but there's a real reaction time/ability usage problem here too. the ram was OK, but like jay said, shield took too long to cast, the aim is just... bad... but otherwise the positioning etc was ok. It's just the poor aim means he's always losing and thus has to give too much space. The ability usage on ram was OK but the orisa... was.... tragic. You just can't be missing that many javelins and misusing your CD's so often. He almost always spun before fortify, when you're supposed to dynamically change between the 2. He fed with his ult a few times. Honesty it was just... bad. Like the orisa was straight plat.
my advice to this guy is to fix the aim. you HAVE to fix the aim. IDK what's wrong but you've gotta get it better. New mouse, lower sens, better mousepad... whatever. That core problem in his gameplay is preventing him from playing "correctly" basically every single fight. After that, Ability usage. Positioning is mostly ok but like... he's dying because he's missing. constantly.

I might be wrong but im struggling to see how people get into elo hell. I got to gm very fast onetricking ball and on dps, although i dont play it as seriously as ball im steadily ranking up to masters. Maybe its a region thing lmao
Elo hell is real tho, i play ow since 2019 and im hardstuck gold 5 support on my main account (1300 hours) and i was pretty sure i deserve GM. I was never able to get out of gold because my dps are actually (im not joking) always 3-12. So i made a smurf acc 2 months ago and guess what, im gm5 on my smurf acc. Elo hell is real because you are stuck with people that play rank as an alternative for qp. If you are between bronze and gold you are not able to get out because your teammates are practicing random heroes (even tho its rank) and unfortunately many people suffer from this
They were talking about the ping issue because the shaky screen is only visible to spectators watching someone on high ping. I've seen that in soooo many games. However, it shouldn't affect the person playing, just the spectator.
@Jay3 I hope one day I can have a shot in a video like this one, as a tank or DPS doesn’t matter, I’m Diamond 4 in tank and masters 5 Dps I might prefer to play Tank I think I deserve GM in tank I communicate with my team but they don’t communicate back and switch I play on PS5 for tank I do Orisa Ram , D.Va, and Rein will play others if needed. It was a dps diff. If they were killing the other dps rather then TRYING to kill the tank. They would have won

He doesn't utilize the natural covers well at all. he keeps standing in the middle when he's below 100hp. Overworking the healers and giving free ult charge to enemies. He needs to use covers and make more unpredictable patterns of engagements when he decides to peak. Also as Jay mentions he's looking at the ground way too long to put down a shield (Should be no more than a flick reaction) and his aim needs to improve. Other than that he has a good understanding of the character's ability and I say a solid tank player amongst the GM. I would still average him in diamond/masters tbh until those mechanics are fixed.

Idk.. I'm gold and have better aim. Which is interesting to me. Orisa is projectile. Shoot in front of them as they run. But im also a hanzo player so I know exactly the distance to shoot in front. Maybe that's what helps me

I don’t know I am high masters, so I’m not ranked much higher than him but when I see this guy play with the combination of his positioning, aim and decision making in certain instances it makes me feel like im top 500 in comparison lol maybe i need to just grind up the ranks more

My internet was out so I was playing on my hotspot in silver lobbies with my low ranked friend, I went 19-0 before disconnecting at 700 ping.
