Please tell the devs to have a weekly rotating single map playlist so people can learn the maps they don’t know. Basically what they do when a new map is released but a constant rotating playlist. That would be a game changer
It's so fucking refreshing to hear everyone speaking positively about this game for once, not just Kini and G but the whole community. I love this game ❤️
Some players are still gonna play a tdm style, cause that’s what they enjoy, even if I don’t like it that’s up to them. However, I think this update will make a better experience for those who do play more tactical and team based. The scope balancing will change things up. The attachment reworks like the new grip and laser/angled changes will give more variety to weapon customization. The new op looks fun and has one of the coolest abilities concepts I’ve seen in a while. The faster animations is nice, and things like the lien for throwable gadgets will help new players. They’re also adding to the ai gamemodes to help new players as well. Lastly, while I still thin shields might be op, or at least too frustrating for certain players, I think shields will at least be fun to play for once. Overall it’s a good update for the game. We won’t see a change the mentality of players immediately, and I sense the 2.5 will still cater to over-peekers and spawn peeking, but you can see the long term idea here.
W podcast. Please keep these going and maybe even some theory crafting / new operator ideas. For like game ideas i would love more custom map utility improvements. I would also like a creative mode. I know created maps is a crazy ambitious ask but a boy can dream. I also want to be able to want a drone target practice exercise. There's tons of ideas i have and more will come after this comment. Edit: you guys did have some amazing operator ideas. This comment was posted before my ears encountered these ideas.
What they should do for QM 3.0 is only let defense play a site once to force people to vary their site selection up more. For reinforcements they should have icons for hatches and walls facing the outside.
Id ammend that reinforcment visibilty is only for prep phase. I'd also lean into quick match being a casual mode and make it so a match ending starts you in another match with a vote to shuffle both teams at the end of a match or stay in the same teams. I would also add an extra round for the defense making it so you have to play all 4 sites and that would make defense in QM get progressivlely harder each round you play but would incentivize learning new strats for each map even on bad sites.
I wonder if reducing the time to reinforce walls in prep phase(basically speeding up the animation by 25% or more) for QM 3.0 would also streamline the experience while not taking away creativity.
@@takingday perhaps but QM 2.0's reduced setup time effects any op with more than 3 gadgets severely. maestro for example can have 6 deployable gadgets which is hard to get down unless you stack them next to each other. castle has to set up 4 barricades, 2 proxies, and make some rotates which is hard at the best of times to do.
I mean in overwatch they hav Doomfist as playable character and he is the head of Talon same goes for widowmaker etc. Siege is a character shooter to its core so i dont really mind it.

Hopefully, you guys keep going. Deadly Omen sounds like an awesome season too, although Im a little worried about Deimos being a bit too much at release.
Gadget trajectories are a great OPTIONAL addition. I probably won’t use them because I may find them distracting, but if a newer player or someone who hasn’t put as much time into learning the arcs and paths of gadgets feels more comfortable making plays because of them, I say more power to them. Siege is already such a hard game to learn, so lowering the barrier to entry in these ways is fantastic in my opinion.
I’m an older player but I think I’ll find myself using it. Nothing sucks more then getting a C4 stuck on some bar of a wall, or throwing a long ace charge onto the foot of a wall.
@@Jotchuaaseems good, i was about to say what would stop people from spaming it for just a sec and turning it off. This is good, if you scan you have to stay dedicated to the scan or you lose one of your 4 charges.
I don't think I ever played solo defense as well as when Mozzie had the Super Shorty. Snatch up a couple drones, pop out a few off-site rotates and then start hunting.

I think that’s a bit of a shallow look on the situation. People aren’t just coming back because “Muh ACOG is bacc!”, but I think it’s more the entire scope chnage in general. 1.5x scope has become synonymous with TDM meta, which everyone in the community knows is an issue. The whole rebalancing of scopes is a callback to “the good old days”, while also being a big change. Of course people are hyped about the scope change, it’s HUGE and means everyone has to reexperiment with the scopes
I like what I’m seeing and hearing so far. Hopefully, the recruit rework is still fun (and still a good meme, I’m an old Siege player that loved the early years). The attachment reworks and shield rework has me excited for the next season (I haven’t played much of TTS). Here’s to another year!
I hope he gets the Tachanka treatment of getting a different gadget altogether (Even though Tachanka is clunky, he’s leagues better then his old self). Maybe he’ll be able to fire fire as well, making him like Capitão without the smokes, who knows.
Pretty sure Osa was their idea for rework on blackbeard but perhaps it became to interesting to not make it as a separate operator for them. Still think hes current gadget could work but make him a 3 speed so u can peek a little faster with his shield. Then maybe u have a chance to react aswell instead on just noticing your shield got destroyed ^^
Are we back? With the sub model and overall feeling that this game, is turning even fouler in terms of MTX and now selling skins in marketplace? Are we fucking back tho?
The marketplace is awesome, I made 8k r6 credits from it so I don't need to buy a battlepass for the next 2 years basically, mtx is needed to keep the game alive and having optional cosmetics to buy will never make the game worse for me in any way.
I think we need more fun maps that are sweaty fun that make you really think. I really wouldve liked 2 more maps this year or the night maps everyone wanted.
I would LOVE another map like coastline or like skyscraper, where you have a unique style of approaching wall breaching and maps. Comparatively, Emerald Plains (personal fav, but others dislike it) and Nighthaven (I like this map too, but it can feel samey) have very similar styles of play to other maps, and Lair doesn’t really have its own unique feel to it, besides the outside.
I think that recruit having all primary gadgets seems like asking for trouble/allot it's probably gonna be 3 primary gadgets for attack , breach, entry and other/flex 3 primary gadgets for defense roamer , anchor and other. And them being based of versions of other ops but they have less of them is probably how it is going to go and recruit could be a character that can hold one more secondary gadget but they can't choose some options of primary and secondary together or some secondary's wont be available to them meaning they could fill a role while bringing a bit more secondary utility that is more suited for helping their teammates.
Its only live in qm and "maybe" in standard. Been playing both a ton this season because i could not stand the cheaters and tdm playstyle in ranked. But cant remember for sure if spawn protection is active on standard aswell atm :/
I hope that they're gonna buff some of the shotguns that didn't profit from the shotgun rework... the russian sausage for example feels very mediocre...even on close range (which is sad because it was one of the better shotguns before the rework imo)
I wanna comeback now I hope they get the cheaters over all. But I have very excited for the sheidl rework. I hope they add other things like sheilds rework with new functionality but clear defined weaknesses and trade offs
I hope recruit gets to be viable but not stupid. He's already in the game so at least make him cool but hopefully not OP. That character has to much freedom
PSYCHE! everyone on the test server is quite literally spawn peeking with the acogs. Siege isn't back just yet, we'll see how it goes on the main servers
I haven't run into too many people spawnpeeking personally, and the ones that tried it weren't very successful, maybe like 1 or 2 kills the first round they tried it then deaths. As long as every attacker can have an acog too, I think it's fine. Attackers always know what windows there are and can peek them one at a time, and can mix up their positioning to throw off the defenders aim- whereas defenders have to stay in one small spot. Ubi's map design is also way better for this, they've changed the exteriors of most maps to be decidedly attacker favored now, and all the new maps are built that way as well. Spawnpeeking isn't really the kind of issue it used to be imo
If they really want the game to be more objective based, and attacking to be more strong, why not incentivize planting by making it quicker and defusing quicker?
Yeah think faster defuse and planting will be a bad thing in the long run. As soon as u hear someone defuse u need to swing them because its fast now. Easier to bait ppl who are protecting the defuser. But maybe have it like Valorant u have 2 stages to plant/defuse. If u reached 1 phase u can stop plant/defuse but u start from that spot if u go back to plant or defuse?

There's many similarities between Deimos and Negan other than the wistle, an elite skin would be incredible

I dont hate it. The acog is at least uncomfortable to use in cqc whereas the 1.5 is the perfect site.
The acog is better for holding angles. They’re passively pushing/asking the defenders to slow down.
They already said that one recruit would be female and the other recruit would be male

Blackbeard rework could be the attacker version of Azami. I feel like that "construction" ability would work for both sides in unique ways.

Maybe Lair is too demanding on verticality play, and too complex, but that's a good map
your recruit morph idea is terrifiying. 16 lesion mines 10 kapkan traps 6 frost matts 6 smoke canisters 4 kaid claws 8 bandit bateries 4 mira gadgets or atk 6 thatcher emps or 8 fuze charges 8 candelas 4 ash charges etc.
