For a peated scotch lover I enjoyed this Bardstown! I admit I will pay a lot for good scotch but this is $200 before taxes in Vancouver and it’s not worth the cost IMO. I admit I will pay a lot more for single malt scotch versus bourbon. Cheers.
Great review! My store owner friend gave me a 2oz sample and I thought it was very interesting! He will let me have this for 110.00 so maybe it will make it on my shelf. Sweet, spice, little savory barrel char smoke flavor. Cheers!
I'll stick with the origin and some fusion bottles for what I am willing to pay for alcohol. 150 is my cap so this is out for me. I'm sure it's good but again just to pricey.
"Michter's" :) Actually, if i'm remembering right, it was a bottle they brought out towards the end of the night when we were asking about what other unique things we could try, but I'm pretty sure the price was too high on it for us. I know we didn't have it, but can't remember if any big bawlers in our group got a pour, though.
In your description to this video, you call it a "straight rye whiskey". It's actually a bourye, I would say, since it's blending two ryes with three bourbons. The weighted overall percentages are 48%, 45%, 7%, corn, rye and barley, respectively. The weighted age is 9.9 years.
Got this for $130 just now. Can’t wait to try!
Another splendid review. Thanks guys! ❤👍🏼
I wish that Bardstown would do 50ml or 100ml bottles in these collaborative series. $160 is a pricey chance...js Great video 👍🥃👍
That would be cool! I wish they would do that, too.
Nice review. I picked this up last week and enjoyed the first pour. 🥃
Costco N Indy $124 today , whole shelf of them
Cherry vanilla nose and palate with a malted barley finish. Great bottle.
Thanks I appreciate the video 🥃
This bottle is awesome probably going to get a backup 🥃😎
If you like amrut, you should try the amrut spectrum. Spectacular.

Sara - just curious - what amaro do you use in your Black Manhattan? I use Montenegro.
Comments of “dry” came up often - not for me - but thanks for review!!😀
You know why lol your taste buds are burnt lol 🤣 I love these guys

You read our minds! See you Friday.

I don't use $160 bottles as mixers. Sounds interesting but definitely a try a pour in a bar before you buy bottle.

What was in that Michter’s bottle on the bar at Jack Rose? Please don’t say “Michter’s.” 😜😘

I was interested UNTIL $160
Get your money up
Honey that corn whiskey will kick your butt .AKA moonshine..
Now I need to root around my collection to see if I have an Amrut yet.
