All these bikepacking videos has inspired me to do bikepacking as well. This looks fun.

As a resident of NC, it's great to see some bikepacking highlights from somewhere other than out west and British Columbia! All that clay, rocks, tree roots, and colorful locals was refreshing to see. Thanks for the video!

The first 26 miles is one of my favorite regular rides. Thanks for the great video and scout Neil!!

Great timing as we will be moving from Phoenix (no rain) to eastern Tennessee (45" of rain) in 2023! Spring brings lots of rain and bugs. Fall is beautiful! Thanks!

Depending on where in TN, October will be your driest month. Enjoy it. March the wettest. Take up paddling and enjoy the free flowing rivers and creeks.

Riding under those waterfalls at 2:50 looks amazing. What a beautiful route!

I've been hearing Austin talking about this route for a while so it's exciting to see it finally be published and to get to see your video!

The terrain reminds me of the Missouri Ozarks, some of the toughest bikepacking I’ve done. Hardest day ever on a bike was 18 miles of Ozark Trail in warm weather with blowdown after blowdown. Nice video!

Is suspension pretty much mandatory? So glad this route is getting some attention. I live near there and was told it was basically unrideable and that parts were closed to mechanical traffic of any kind.

Routing can be difficult and you have to ride some roads. I ride these trails for a majority of my time on the bike and I’m a fully rigid single speed.

Looks interesting, at least it would be in the Fall. I wish it were more e-bike friendly, with more charging stations and less water. It's just tough to beat the mountain biking in California, though.

Looks like this one can be hard on equipment. Did you rebuild your hubs after all that water? 😁

Only thing that I needed to rebuild was I need new lowers on my fork as the bushings wore down.

Looks like a great route except for that mud.

It really is incredible and the best thing is that it's going to improve down the road. That muddy stretch was scouted and it didn't make the cut on the route.
