I have some garlic just for the greens and some for the actual bulb. I need to get my carrots and beets up and going soon. Great video and very informative. I use 10-10-10.
I do that with my onions, too. I cut a few of the green parts while the bulb is growing. Try garlic chives...you get that garlic flavor without having to grow the bulb. Thanks for watching!
I literally just ordered from Keene's a few weeks ago. I just searched the internet and crossed my fingers. Thanks, now I feel great about my choice! They start to ship in September. I'm too excited!
You're so welcome! When I moved here 15 years ago from the Midwest, I had to throw out everything I knew about gardening and begin again. I'm so glad I did! Keep at it...you'll learn so much and it will be worth it.
Thank you, Kara! I just learned so much right now!! 😍 I found you from a blog entry of yours shared by Angela. I’m growing in hot dry continental Spain with little rainfall so your experience is really interesting and useful to me. Thanks again for your time in making these videos ❤❤❤❤
I'm so happy you found it helpful. The area I live in is in USDA zone 8b -9b, so probably similar to where you are, although I'm not sure we get as cold. But I'm sure the heat and dry climate in summer are very similar. Good luck with your garden!
@@SowArizona Same here! The lowest winter temps are about 20F, which can be zone 8/9 like yours. I´m trying to compile a list of cities around the world with climates like ours. There´s so much to learn and so much beauty to be created.🌱💐
Another great video! Since you asked about garlic varieties we like to grow in AZ, one that I hope to always have in my garden, is elephant garlic. Check it out.
Great video. Thank you! I grew some garlic (don;t remember where I bought it. It wasn't successful, but I really didn't know anything about it. I am going to try again this year. I really find your videos very helpful. I live in Mes az.

Do you think I could grow them in Growing bags? And use Tanks potting soil OR would I have to amend the soil? Glad I found your videos 🥰
