It’s one of the best small torches for the best price out there

I have the 5000K version of the Pokelit AA. I was planning on getting a 6500K version to pair with it. I may look into the TAC AA and get the 6500K version of it instead. The TAC AA seems to be more of a thrower than the Pokelit.

i was looking for a edc light, this one can go with standard AA as well, with a lower output of course

When it comes to 14500 lights acebeam is awesome good quality performance amd price. I bought the cw model for my friend a while ago and never got one of these for myself but I definitely need one.

I have not bought a light 💡 in months ! I think I’ll get this one

Strobe seems only effective when used with overwhelming power. I'd consider this to around 2500+ lumems and I'd rather not have this feature at all on any light less than 1500lumens.

@Torches and Tactical - the specs on the acebeam site say it has a "low battery warning". Some other reviews said they couldn't see any. Did you test this or notice any idicator?

it can work on li-ion AA batteries.
no one drained the batteries to zero in reviews

The UI isnt tactical. That for it should have at least high first. Also momentary always high without changing the mode. Interestingly Acebeam has a "tactical" category on their webpage. But they put it under their "edc" category. I hope they will update it with a tactical UI.

Great little light for the price . Not as nice as Phoenix's 1:23 a thrower but it is much cheaper and can take AA batteries . It's funny when it comes to a tactical light how much would the Secret Service have loved to have had this back in the old Surefire 6p days which really wasn't that long ago when you think about it

@bujabusiness - what fenix model? your comment shows a "time stamp" not a model number

It’s a good light I just think that the tail cap could be better. It doesn’t feel confortable to click it on and off like the pokelit.

I got one of these off amazon for $20. happy with it for that. Got the Nichia version. To me, its kind of a half tactical light.. Its a fairly simple UI with some focus on intensity. Whats kills it though would be the mode memory and having at least one too many settings. A tactical light should only really have one, two.. or MAYBE three settings, and again, no memory so you'll always know where it'll be when you turn it on. Still a decent little light though. A kind of throwy EDC with a little bit of tactical focus.

Strobe is not a "tactical" feature, its a marketing gimmick with no real world function beyond parties

The Russian Federal Security Service regularly uses a strobe light when working indoors.
this is shown in many reports

Got the hi CRI version and it has a strange donut “eclipse” type ring at the edge of the corona. I think it must be a mfr. defect.

    • @sethmichael8188
      @sethmichael8188 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

It's not a defect. Mine has it too. But you shouldn't notice it past 5 yards. I can't and believe me I'm very picky lol

This is not a Tac or EDC flashlight. It is the only flashlight with a clip (that I own) which is not reversible. I used it for about a month and gave it away.

The skipping in this video, like this is an old film or something, makes this unwatchable. Highly recommend that you don't do that anymore.

If you have zero tactical training or experience then your opinion on the "tactical" capability of this light is worth absolutely nothing.
