A Hand Salute, I have a 1980 350-6/2 muncie four speed with 4,657 miles on odometer. Cranberry red with black tee-tops and camel brown interior. Rally wheels with caps and spinners. Definitely a eye catcher. SEMPER FIDELIS

It was 1971 and I had saved up 2200.00 bucks for a nice 61. Same color same engine. I left for school that day after giving my dad the money I saved fixing lawn mowers and my paper route. I came home from school that day to find my dad with a set of keys and said I have your car in the back. I ran to see. It was a 1972 Toyota corolla! ARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!

@@loucostabile Thanks. I loved my 69 convertible in Riverside gold until a semi 86th it. My C6 z51 convertible in velocity yellow is a how ya doin to my dad who picked the mustard yellow corolla. Enjoy the reviews!

Owned a Black 1961 in 1964 when I got out of the US Army.! Loved it, wish I still had it.! It turned heads, just like this one.. Top did have a tendency to leak, but it was no problem!! Great video!! You are a lucky man , with a big, well deserved smile!!

1961 is my favorite year. First, it was the year I was conceived.... But I digress. Secondly, I like the two-toned coves and the grill on the '61.

Lou...we enjoy a moving corvette....their's two seats...take corvette for spin...also why no roll bars on corvettes?..especially convertibles?

I was 4 years old when my uncle pulled into my Grandmother’s driveway with this car, brand spanking new, in 1961. I remember the look on my dad’s face, like it was yesterday. That day made quite an impression on me. I’ve coveted that car ever since. So much so, I may go to Hell! Lol
I was 20 years old, parents out of town, babysitting my 3 sisters and 1 brother. He was 15. My father had spent the last year refurbishing a 1964 Thunderbird in our garage. He rebuilt the motor himself, and finished that car with tender loving care. It had JUST come out of the body shop from getting painted, when he left for Hawaii. I’m telling you, that car was magnificent! It had 45 miles on the odometer. I got a call one night at 2:00 AM from the police department. They had my brother!!!! He took that car out and got nailed by the police doing 98 mph in a 25 mph area!!!! He was 15!!! I could have killed him! My dad had worked tirelessly on that car for a year! He hadn’t had a chance to take it out HIMSELF!!! I didn’t know how to get anyone out of jail, so I had to call my dad. OMG! It’s a miracle my brother is still alive. He put 175 miles on the car that night!!! I remember my mother getting upset with my father. She said “Dear! What did you expect? You left the keys in it! He’s fifteen!” He calmed down after my grandmother reminded him of the time he and my uncle stole tires from the cars AT CHURCH, so they could race that night. They were 15 and 16. Hahahaha Not funny at the time, but very funny now! Love your channel! I’m so glad I found it.
