- Finally a New video out. It has been a lot of weather this Winter, Wind, rain and a lot of snow. In January, my husband drove 360 Norwegian miles With the tractor and the snowplow :)

Love the wonderful snow plow. Even as an old lady it looks fun to drive. I was born in Oslo but when I was a baby ,after WWII, we immigrated to the United States. I have been raised mostly in Minnesota. We can get a lot of snow here also. I have also lived in Alaska and my mom always said it reminded her of Norway. I remember in Alaska getting snow up to the roof. So, even tho we left Norway when I was young my heart has always been in Norway. Most of my relatives still live there.
Sorry thatI have forgotten how to speak Norwegian as my parents stopped speaking it when I was about 6 years old as they were working, and living at a children's home in Alaska. My mom did not want those kids to think that she was speaking about them. I understood her when she spoke but was unable to respond back in Norwegian. I guess I was timid then. Now I find that as I go through the Norwegian letters she received from family back in Norway I have to speak the words out loud to even get a rough idea of anything that was written. My mom was the last to die at 93 years old so she is safe from this virus and can no longer help me read those letters. Think I will have to learn.
Years ago my cousin was a photo journalist for Aftenposten so he would travel here now and then. One time he did a story about the youth group at our church in a magazine he worked on so that was fun. He sent us a copy so good memory's. He was a few years older than I and died a few years ago from a bad heart. Sorry to talking so much. Please stay well and safe everyone and do not take chances with this awful virus out there. 🙏

We also have relative in America, my grandfather's Brother moved to America when he was young. My relative lives in Seattle, in 1980 my mother cousin visit us in Norway. We got a lot of snow now, some places there are about 2 meters. And more is coming from the sky🌨️but some places between May and june, I hope the spring is here. We live on a farm with Milk cows, and 2 Shetland ponnies, a Cat and a dog. If you like, take a look of some of the other videos. I know that the City is really big but sometimes you meet some one Who know some one, and suddenly we have some people that we both know😉the world isn't so big. @@tinjasworld I think every Norwegian (I mean real ethnic Norwegians) have relatives in N-America. Mine descend from my grandma's oldest brother who was "chosen" to "make it" in the promised land. He emigrated in the 20's, built a church and fathered a big family (with a Norwegian born wife). Mostly of my family is located in Seattle, Vancouver, Squamish area, and about 10 yrs ago I visited some of them after participating in conference in Tofino, Vancouver Island. Everything: my distant family, other people, the land- & seascape, animals & plants, atmosphere, food, smells ... was super cool.

This is like the trains in canade plowing through snow but without trains and tracks. It is so satisfying to watch and looks like a ton of fun doing it.

It's strange to see an agricultural type machine being used in this capacity. It probably laughs at the amount of strain being placed upon it doing this in comparison to plowing, or disc pulling a field on a farm. Snow never knew what hit it! Run Deere run!
You can use theese kind of tractors to a lot of different work. And it's not a Deere, it's a Deutz Fahr ;)
He ain't wasting any time pushing that snow back, that's for sure! That "V" blade works good when in deep snow and no traffic but not so good when there's two way traffic!! If that baby is coming at you at 50 mph....you find reverse....... REAL FAST!!!

is he driving with gps-support? or is it just early plowing when snow starts to fall because the road is easier to find when there are only a few centimeters of snow?
No GPS support, only the markers along the road. In really bad weather it can be difficult to find the road, and sometimes it goes to hell :)

I see that you are taking care with the road markers still it looks like some are plowed to the side. Do you come back and pick up those markers in the spring after the snow has melted and unburied them!
@Bryan LaVergne that's correct 👌 we pick up everyone, the damage one goes to recycling and the others are used next season😊

Hey. It's a Deutz Fahr TTV 7250, from 2017. It has 264 hp, and it's a really well function tractor. We have two of them, one older from 2013.

При таком покрытии асфальта можно погазовать.А у нас если на такой скорости пронестись,то можно угодить в пол метровую яму на дороге и сделать двойное сальто на тракторе.🤣
Would be great to see this plow in real time, not the fast forward time shown.
And where are the wing plows? The next snow will easily drift in and fill that plowed opening, which is much more difficult to move to the sides.
This video is in real speed, some of the clips are in slow motion. He drives in a speed of about 50 km, and the snow is blowing of the road. In Norway there is a few using wing plows, but the road are still open. My husband use the snowblower if some of the snow is going back on the road. We usually get between 1-2 meter snow during the winter, but there are No problems😉

Curious why you use tractors to plow roads instead of trucks?
In Norway, we have a speed limit of 40 km per hour. Therefore, today's modern tractors do the job as well as a truck, and are cheaper to operate.

The video is sped up, judging from the newtonian mechanics of the snow. I am not certain though. It could also be the camera angles.
This video isn't speed up, it has to be the camera angle. Some of the clips are in slowmotion, but all of the others are in normal speed. He drives in 40-45 km per hours😉
@@tinjasworld Thanks for clarifying. Later I realized that especially on highways they have to move as quickly as they can. So speed is something the market demands if not the crucial factor. More infastructure, more highways, less people. It is only a question of time for autonomous robots to take over. Right now it is too precarious. Too much stuff that can go wrong with such a potentially deadly machinery.
