JIRICEK!!!! Yesterday was fun and VERY exciting to watch.
They (media) said we have up too much for him and when you deep it its a crazy bargain.
Hunt plus late picks in the early rounds. Jiricek is playing now and Columbus got a lot of picks that arent guaranteed to make the NHL and if they do are realistically 3-4 years away
The fact that Billy didnt have to give up a higher prospect is such a massive W.

We definitely don’t qualify as media haha but we all loved this trade from the jump. Granted, hard not to when Spoked Z was obsessed with him in his draft year (#4 on his big board).

Great podcast as always! Jiricek looks the part more and more each game. His play today against Colorado was outstanding. Buium hopefully will take the Faber path -
no one truly knows but I’m thinking he’s here to stay if given a shot in March. Ohgren also looks the part but dang, this cap crap is almost done and is really getting stale. He is going to be a solid NHL’er for years. I’m thinking maybe they consider Granlund as a rental for this spring if the numbers match??

Great take on granlund. As a finn i would like to see him back even as a rental. Minnesota will have a brick wall defence for years.

@ keep an eye on Kumpulainen / Kiviharju and Soini for us schleps over here! Koivu was a stud here forever ( one of my favorites because he never took a night off) plus we have a heavy Finnish population here, especially northern MN!

@@briangeary7684 I surely will. Theres also Filip Lindberg playing for my "hometown" team HPK Hämeenlinna and he has been very good. Kumpulainen is with our rival Lahden Pelicans and he has 11 points in 33 games wich is not bad. Kiviharju does his job in HIFK Helsinki pretty good also with 11 points in 36 games. Havent seen his full pontential offensive side yet and they are still kids. And yeah i know because i have relatives over there and also my dads cousin played for the wild. Best hockey experience ever was to see them play in helsinki 2010 against carolina. I was like 14. Been a wild fan since that day. And im a minnesota sports fan and minnesotan people fan overall. Great people.
