You are a professional Sir, legit. Everytime I watch you work, you bring something to my attention that I never took into consideration. My entire operation is just sloppy in comparison 😂 Great content, thanks for sharing the knowledge 👍
Lee really has come up with some innovative products lately, and they’ve become masters at reducing costs where it doesn’t reduce the quality of the result.
Options to reloading are wonderful. Bought the priming ram so I can save the rcbs hand primer I have from wear and tear. Too many breakable plastic parts so it is now the backup. Steve just tries to show all the variants and options in equipment and setups which makes reloading soooo versatile.

I overlooked the 38 Super until a friend turned me on to 1911s. Two 1911s later, including a custom, built-for-me 1911, I just love the 38 Super. I also love the simplicity, quality and price of my Lee stuff.
Great video! Just got an APP in and this series really helped me see all the chores I can use it for. I have the Ram Prime head that is actually a breech lock insert itself so should work great! Thanks!
Looks like a multi job press all in one little package, but I'm not going to buy, it maybe 20 ears ago, before all the different presses and priming options that i own. Looks like something that is a must have for the new reloader
I LOVE your innovation -- a new approach that gets used. So, the APP chief benefit is cost-effective volume processing, and singly loading primers seems to go against that theme. I guess Lee understood that, and sells a mate to to the APP, their ACP press, which addresses the matter of feeding primers. For the time being, I have settled on the Forester bench primer, feeding two cases at a time from my fingers - goes pretty quickly.
I've been saying for a year now, that the day is coming when "The Lee APP Press will be as common as a universal decapping die", it is my number one recommended starter press. Brokeloader has done videos on the ram prime I think. Mike
Cookie….regarding the final crimp would it not be quicker to send them thru the feed tubes since the powder is captured already by the seated bullet? Will the collator do its job or does the projectile introduce another twist into the equation? I have a feeling I know what the answer is.
@Tigerologist The height of the feed tube is set just above the feed rail that pushes the case into position. The case tips back as it is pushed to the center spot because it is top heavy and the feed tube had to be raised too much for the slug to pass under it. Maybe with some tweaking it could work.
i been using this for 2 yrs now, especially for decapping my mil crimp 556. HINT: purchase a mighty armory decapper- no pins will break 100% garuntee, even punches through boxer . also, if u CALL LEE and take a PICTURE of ur base model, they will send you an upgraded DELUX model for 50 % off!
Everything looked good except the ram prime process doesn't seem very time efficient. A good hand priming gun would do it much faster without having to physically handle each primer.
@@randyschweiss847 i can prime 100 cases in no time in cases ,and dump another 100 in the tool and so on til 1000 or more .and with the large handle no force needed. i do this al the time because even for the progressive presses its a safety tool also primers get lifted away from the tray . its the new type bench tool from lee

Always love your videos since I'm new to reloading I learn from the best
Just got my Lee ACP and I can tell you that nothing works better or faster!!!!! It us so easy and it primes the cases perfect!

Awesome video , I sat here for awhile trying to figure this out . Thank you so much. The directions sure don't explain it..

Was happy to watch a new reloading TH-cam but sad to realize again I csn't do it myself due to lack of primers. Hope things change someday soon !

I love my Lee APP Press, I use it all the time.
Somewhere between a single stage and progressive! Good series.

Good video FC it’s been awhile since you did a video good to see you back brother

Some good info Steve . Thanks for sharing .

Yes agreed Mike its very versatile, i seated some 223 the other day, the press has good feedback to the operator
nice work with the lee press .
Have you thought about getting a Lee ACP Press for quicker priming? It auto feeds primers and cases and primes as fast as the APP de-primes.
I like this series. Where are Parts 4 - 9?
Beautiful
Pretty slick, albeit a bit slow. But a lot of us might have some extra time on our hands during this era. Thanks for posting on YT, Cookie! 👍🇺🇲
I might pick up one of those presses, but the priming system is way to slow to be useful. Hand or benching priming is better.
Looks good to me thanks for the video
6:27 just curious why mineral oil?
Rust. Any oil would work.
@@pandemicprecision4603 👍
Can the ACP do the same as the APP press?
love my lee APP had for some time now i have deprimed swaged 223 brass primer pockets
Thanks

Great videos but I still cant figure out why I would buy this. My lee 1000 does all this

Hey Steve, it looks like the APP Press is a do all press :-))
Hello Nick - Yes, and we're going to explore the APP even more... Have a great day, Steve
Except for the case feeder, I see absolutely zero advantage over the C-type Lee Reloader press at less than 1/2 the price.
Everything looked good except the ram prime process doesn't seem very time efficient. A good hand priming gun would do it much faster without having to physically handle each primer.
the lee bench primer tool is even better then a handtool
@@petalexben4227 no way. I guarantee I can bang out 50 rds of primed cases in way less time.

Lol. That's to slow for me. Hard pass.
