It says in Video it was pump gas. Tested at 90.8. No Oct booster. AFR is fine. If it was an issue Jim would have mentioned it. Some might like it more rich, but I am in a safe spot. Sled temps, data etc were in safe specs. Thanks.
I guess Speedwerx wants the 2 stroke engine to last less than 500 miles. It will blow up trying to push > 250hp out of the small engines. Also, an AFR of 13+ is way too lean.
First of all that tune you are referring to is strictly for drag racing, not trail riding. It has been tested thoroughly and is completely safe for racing applications. This tune has been dominating the racing circuit since 2023 without any issues. If Dynotech Jim had an issue with this tune, he would’ve told me. Secondly, I’ve been running and testing their stage 5 273+hp tune at DYNOTECH that is not documented in this video with no issues. Again, these high hp tunes are strictly for anywhere from 500ft, 660ft, or 1000ft racing. I appreciate your concern, though 😄
Yes, the engine dyno is used for engine and performance data. Dyno is affixed to the primary. That is how the motor is loaded. On a track dyno, which is used for clutching, the belt is used and the sled is loaded via track for dyno performance. Two separate dyno’s for two separate functions.
263hp from race gas, exhaust, and a tune. Absolutely insane. That's a 70hp gain all at 7lbs of boost
Heck yeah buddy!! She’s gonna be a rocket this season!!!
Flirting with lean conditions thats for sure. Did you do this with octane boost in the fuel or just straight 91 non ethanol?

I didn’t know you could Dino that snowmobile without a belt with out blowing the motor up🤔🤔
