I have a couple of F-104s and I recall doing some filing of the stand for the inflight mode to retain the sidewinders which worked. Just realized that I love the gear up option because I am a coward !!!!
You might be able to force the issue with some mods, but straight out of the box it seems to be a regular thing for HM to make you remove ordnance for the stand. Some used to have the stand go through it which was an awesome idea but they don't do that to often. I think the Mig 23 has that and the Prowlers maybe if I recall correctly. Your not a coward, just smarter than us gear down fools,haha. Thanks as always for dropping past!!
This one looks incredible with the orange accents. The 104 is a badass bird. I love the landing gear on it too. Some gear look awkward but this is one that the gear looks natural, same with the F-16 IMO. Cheers brother🍻
Yeah the orange definitely pops, must be only on the maritime aircraft I think as the normal Luftwaffe 104's I don't think have the bright colour on the tanks. Yeah the gear once you know what to do is relatively easy to set up. The F-16 ones from HM are even easier, just has that whole drop in module in one piece for the rear wheels. haha, if I had to look at anything any smaller than 1:72 I think I would go insane 😂you people that like commercial air line scales like 1:144 or 1:200 or even that crazy 1:400 should earn a living as snipers because your eyesight must be awesome to see the details on those things,haha
